Take a Trip to Connecticut: The Second Annual Fairfield County Show Featuring fine quality Art, Objects, Furniture and Accessories, well known dealers and a great location

Diana Bittel, Ralph and Karen DiSaia

On December 1 and 2 2012, DiSaia and Bittel will bring to Norwalk, CT the 2nd annual Fairfield County Antiques and Fine Art Show. Featuring 68 art and antiques dealers from across the county, The Fairfield County Antiques and Fine Art show is the creation of Karen and Ralph DiSaia and Diana Bittel. After working together on many events through the years, and feeling the loss of a strong antiques event in Connecticut, with the ends of both the venerable Southport Westport Antiques Show and recently the Wilton Show, it seemed like a great to start a new show. Being so close to New York, and with the ever-growing collector base in Connecticut this event seems like a perfect fit.

Dealers for this show were chosen with an eye toward variety and the ability to create an interesting and informative venue in which to buy art and antiques. The variety available in this show is extensive and no matter what your taste or desires, there will be things here for you to see.

This is a wonderful time of the year to shop for your self, a friend or loved one. This show has objects from the 17tt to the 20th centuries. For your walls there will be offerings from Old Masters drawings to impressionist art and fine antique prints and maps to nautical paintings and contemporary art - all chosen with an eye for excellence by experienced dealers.

If you are furnishing your home, you will find great furniture from elegant early European pieces and fine American furniture to American Country primitive. For the Folk Art lover, there will be opportunities to see many wonderful things from weathervanes and early American crockery to great signs, Sailors art, carvings and hooked rugs. Textiles from every sector will be available including American Flags, quilts, samplers, Oriental Rugs and coverlets. For your garden, you will see tempting accessories and decorations. If you are looking for jewelry, we will have examples from the past three centuries. Great English and export ceramics and silver and fantastic early glass for your holiday table will be available in abundance. There will even be a booth of vintage Christmas decoration.

The Sono Field House at 365 Martin Luther King Drive is a wonderful and comfortable venue for the show. There is convenient free parking, a fabulous café and so much to see! We are very close to the South Norwalk Metro North Station. No matter what your quest- for you or a loved one, the Fairfield County Antiques and Fine Art show should certainly be your destination on December 1-2. We look forward to seeing you at the show.
