Terrific Takeout: Forcella Our Coverage Sponsored by Maine Woolens

Maine Woolens is a weaver of blanket and throws located in Brunswick, Maine. We work primarily with natural fibers, like cottons and worsted wools and are committed to using renewable natural fibers from American growers whenever possible. We do piece dyeing and package dyeing in house and the combined experience of our excellent employees exceeds 300 years. Our wool and cotton blankets and throws are 100 percent machine washable, soft and luxurious to the touch, cozy warm and comfortably light. We have many styles to choose from. Our clients are very positive about our products and happy to support a Made in Maine, USA company. Jo Miller is a Mover and Shaker:

We have been highly recommended by Whom You Know:
Maine Woolens, affordable luxury and tradition.

There are shoes, and then there are shoes made in Italy.  There are stockings, and then there are stockings made by EMILIO CAVALLINI.
In Manhattan, there is pizza, and then there is pizza made by people from Italy, and in this case we are talking about the amazing Giulio Adnani.
We're not even Italian, but we know they've got great taste.  Forcella, which means Wishbone in Italian (we even featured a pug named Wishbone!) is one phenomenal pizza spot with two Manhattan locations: the one we went to at 334 Bowery (we don't see a Facebook page for this location) and one on Park Avenue.  Though we have not been to Napoli we understand from Giulio that the Forcella section of Napoli boasts the most famous pizza places, hence the name of this pizza heaven.  This kind of excellence in pizza cannot be found at your corner pizza shop.  We tried the Margherita pizza which is tomato sauce, homemade mozzarella, parmesean and basil and Peachy decided to add Truffle Oil, Mushrooms, Artichokes and Hot Salami.  Every bite was pure bliss and every item was fresh and delicious.  Giulio knows what he is doing.
Because she is in love with Burrata, Peachy decided to try it at Forcella to see how it compares.  Again, it trumped many other burratas we've tried and it came in a party of thinly sliced Prosciutto di Parma which only enhanced its flavoring.  It was superfresh, soft and the kind of dish that just makes your day.
As you know we insist upon a green salad and Forcella was imaginative here.  We don't think we've ever seen a Kale Caesar salad before, and we were entirely pleased to make its acquaintance!  The deep leafy greens with freshly shaved parmesean made fast friends with Peachy's stomach and they were careful to put the dressing on the side, like we like it.
Forcella is Terrific Takeout!
