Remarkable Real Estate: Besen Retail

Peachy Deegan met the fabulous people from Besen Retail when she was in Rockefeller Center for the White Collar event!   Besen Retail is a retail leasing company based in Manhattan. Providing creative solutions for tenants and landlords, Besen Retail strives to effectively serve retail clients in the Metropolitan New York City Area.   They currently have spaces in Manhattan, Brooklyn, The Bronx, Queens, and Long Island. Caitlin Heikkila came to the company in August, and created a blog where she reports on the latest retail trends, neighborhood happenings, and the spaces available for lease. Caitlin makes retail appealing to everyone, whether a person is in the business or not.  You can see her listed among our preferred links in the right hand column of Whom You Know.

They recently completed a couple notable deals: One with the famous restaurant owners from Macao Trading Company, for a space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. (The link is below).   They also transacted with Doodle Doo’s: a kid’s haircutting/toy store/birthday party spot in the West Village on Christopher street. (link also below).

They have many fabulous spaces available for lease right now. The first is The Metro Theater at 2626 Broadway, a former famous theater and a beautiful space on the Upper West Side with art deco décor. (Link below) Another is 75 Orchard Street, on one of the most popular blocks in the Lower East Side. It is neighbored by the Roasting Plant, The Dressing Room, Wendy Mink Jewelry, etc. and they also have one in Williamsburg that is perfect for a coffee shop, and it is adjacent to the Macao space.
