American Cancer Society “Celebration of Life” To Honor Scott Hamilton & Ambassador Brenda Johnson

American Cancer Society “Celebration of Life”
To Honor Scott Hamilton & Ambassador Brenda Johnson

Nikki Haskell will be the Mistress of Ceremonies and Donald Trump will present the awards on Tuesday, May 12th at The St. Regis Roof. There will be a special performance by pop king Neil Sedaka. Peachy Deegan is really looking forward to this as she is a supporter of Cancer Research and loved seeing Neil Sedaka whilst growing up with her family.

Scott Hamilton receives the Man of Achievement Award and Ambassador Johnson, the Humanitarian Award.

Speaking of achievements, Scott is a two-time cancer survivor, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg. From childhood to adulthood, this life champion surmounted every imaginable challenge. He literally and figuratively got up with a smile each time he fell. For Scott, “The only disability in life is a bad attitude.”

Indeed, a richly-deserved salute awaits Scott Hamilton and Brenda Johnson for this evening that will benefit life-saving and life-enhancing programs of the American Cancer Society.

The American Cancer Society is dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by saving lives, diminishing suffering and preventing cancer through research, education, advocacy and service. Founded in 1913, the Society has community-based offices in 3,400 communities, involving millions of volunteers across the United States.
