TOP PEACHY'S PICKS JANUARY 1, 2026

In Chronological Order according to when Peachy's Picks was first achieved.

The year reflects the year the restaurant joined Peachy's Picks and we show the first review and the recent review. Of course if you see a restaurant owner's picture more than once, it reflects that they own more than one successful restaurant. We always only work directly with owners. 

For the first time this year, we calculated how many cumulative years this group has been in business and it is over 1,630 years for these 52 restaurants, and we are only counting the oldest not all by Ashok in Washington, D.C.  The oldest is Delmonico's since 1837, and the youngest is Margaux by La Sirene which opened this past summer 2025.  The average age is 32 years.  Also note just because you see a venue one year does not mean you will automatically see it the next year: those pictured on this list are in it to win it and we have every confidence you will have a great experience with them.  If you don't, feel free to email Peachy and tell her.  This current list represents the best as of right now and those pictured are the most competitive.  Certainly, it reflects excellence when you see a venue on year in, year out and the other lists we have published are at the bottom should you wish to compare.

More geographically impressive places will join them in the future, notably Florida, London and Paris all of which are being considered.  Note that Peachy's Picks Golf is brand new this year and so is Peachy's Picks The Bronx.  If you own a restaurant in Florida, London or Paris, contact Peachy please and she'll add you to the waitlist.  If you own a restaurant somewhere else on planet earth, feel free to convince her.

These restaurants met the following criteria:

They have outperformed their competitors, and their owners are among the most competitive, talented and sincere. The owners are there in person. They demonstrate the highest level of hospitality in every detail.   They care about everything.  Additionally, they are nice people and you would want to visit them and their delicious culinary endeavors.  You can draw your own conclusions about the sparkling personalities featured evidenced by the photography, and we assure you this is the icing on the cake and their fundamentals are sound.  But you do want to have fun, don't you?!

In Manhattan, we have visited them all recently to ensure they are staying on top of their game and each time this list is published it reflects a higher degree of difficulty, and we have been to all of them a minimum of three times and in the best cases, many more.  For a restaurant to join this list, they have to be as amazing as the below owners and their respective brilliant creations.  We do not change our mind about what matters and this has always been the criteria.

There are other restaurants we enjoy, however, since we do not assign number ranks we believe you should know the best of the best on a qualitative basis. Many restaurants come and go in Manhattan but these are here to stay we believe.  We love the ones most who have staying power and here they are.
