We are pleased to announce it has graduated to Peachy's Picks! Peachy Deegan fully endorses this fabulous new gem, especially the lobster salad which she understands is available over the next 2-3 weeks as it is seasonal.

Recently she visited Rouge Tomate for lunch where she had a first, second and third course, all nutritionally balanced of course. We will learn more about that when Rouge Tomate's fabulous staff is presented as Movers and Shakers!

Peachy started with the House Cured Alaskan King Salmon served with Haricot Vert, Greek Yogurt, Sweet Mustard and Dill. Peachy and her dining companion were so impressed with the fabulous presentation of this, and everything served subsequently. The diagonal lines of mustard were perfect to complement the salmon, as were the crispy garnishes of radishes and heirloom carrots. Jesika Hansen did a lovely job as our waitress and was pleasant and knowledgeable at every opportunity.

We absolutely loved the vegetables coupled with the Salmon, which itself was outstanding, and all items were extremely fresh. We also started with the Tomato Gazpacho served with avocado, cilantro, sour dough croutons and chili oil. It was a wonderful kick to start our meal.

As Rouge Tomate is committed to quality and freshness, their menu changes frequently as to bring its clientele the best possible meal at the peak of the season. Each day the Business Lunch changes and is quite reasonably priced at $29 for the Appetizer, Entree and Dessert. Their products come from 45 different farms.

Peachy Deegan love love LOVED the Rhubarb Bellini she had, while her dining companion enjoyed Paul Dolan chardonnay which was crisp. Both were perfect for the seafood meal.

We love love LOVED the MAINE LOBSTER SALAD. You must order this dish. We must protest Rouge Tomate, although we know you do seasonal items Peachy would love it if you could always have this on. (or perhaps you can convince us with another lobster dish if it is as good as this one.) Peachy loved this so much she dreamt of eating it again last night while she was sleeping. The Maine Lobster salad is composed of Lobster from the Gods with Avocado, Spring Beans, Walnut, Passion Fruit Vinagrette and Mango! We thought it was so well-orchestrated.

The lunch was complete with a favorite best-seller: Chocolate and Banana. We loved how CUTE the hot cocoa was served on a square of banana peel. [The attention to detail alone and the thought put into it makes Rouge Tomate a clear winner!] The Chocolate and Banana is Carmelized Banana Napoleon, Roasted Banana Sorbet and Hot Cocoa.

So, you Whom You Know reader, you cute little Tomato, head straight over to Rouge Tomate before the Maine Lobster Salad is out of season! Tell them Peachy Deegan sent you!
