READ THIS: THE NINE ROOMS OF HAPPINESS: Loving Yourself, Finding Your Purpose, and Getting Over Life’s Little Imperfections By Lucy Danziger and Catherine Birndorf, M.D.

Last week, we met Lucy and Catherine at The Monkey Bar and they were fabulously gracious:
http://www.whomyouknow.com/2010/02/nightlight-nine-rooms-of-happiness-at.html

Now after reading their book we know they are infinitely wise as well!

Not to be overly dramatic, but our whole country just is getting over one of life's little imperfections since we just lost to Canada in the Olympic hockey game's overtime, although Zach Parise's goal towards the end of the third period was phenomenal. It was probably the most viewed hockey game ever.  We don't think this is what the authors were referring to as life's little imperfections, but it is on our minds now.  Back to real life!

We have recommended over 100 books now in our Read This column, but we'd have to say this would be in the Top 20.  In The Nine Rooms of Happiness, Lucy and Catherine present a new way of looking at life that is beneficial to everyone that actually faces their problems, and if you don't have problems we know you are in denial!

Think back to when you may have had a dollhouse...wasn't it nice to have everything in its place?  Wouldn't it be nice to have everything in it's place in real life?  Unlikely!  But with the A+B=C equation, we learn that we cannot change some things around us, we can only change our reaction to it and we believe in rising to the occasion at Whom You Know.  The cream rises to the top, n'est pas?  By telling us we are the architects of our own emotional destiny, Danziger and Birndorf both inspire and add perspective to your life and outlook using everything from Venn diagrams to real life examples.  We are not huge fans of psychology at Whom You Know generally, but think this book has valuable insight for everyone because there is no other book out there like it, and that is a complement.  It contains practical advice for regular people with normal issues.

Your emotional house contains:
The bedroom
The bathroom
The family room
The basement
The living room
The kitchen
The child's room
The office
The attic
Plus one more

Now are you intrigued?  We are not going to delve into each-we want you to read the book.  They don't even want us to have 9 tidy rooms...you have to keep the rooms straight and separate however and you need to be OK with the conflict.

Best of all are the pearls of wisdom interspersed throughout the book.  Collect them all and you will have a necklace that leads you to smarter thoughts.  Maximize your assets.  Relate to others and connect.  Remember it is not all about you.  It's more important to be close than to win (Peachy: unless it's hockey.)  Find your authentic self.  Purpose is key!

Do you have a Caveman?  Or a Prince Charming?  Or both?  Or Facebook Man?  Does it even matter?  You complete you.  Embrace your reality!

We hope you read this book and find your mouse hole!  Whom You Know Highly Recommends THE NINE ROOMS OF HAPPINESS: Loving Yourself, Finding Your Purpose, and Getting Over Life’s Little Imperfections By Lucy Danziger and Catherine Birndorf, M.D.

Ask a woman how she’s feeling.  Maybe she just landed a major new account, but she’s stressing about the inaccurate charts in her presentation.  Maybe she’s floating home from a fantastic first date, but an analytical play-by-play grounds her.

All too often, women fear their momentary mistakes rather than reveling in their episodes of excellence.  The number of mistakes adds up, gathering mass and force to shake the foundations of even the happiest life.  Unfortunately, this is the way many women think about everything—their love lives, their bank accounts, their family life, their career, and their body image

Lucy Danziger, editor in chief of Self, and Catherine Birndorf, a psychiatrist and expert on women’s mental health issues, have teamed up to figure out why it’s all too common for women to be thrown off balance if things are going well in all areas of life except for one.  In their new book, THE NINE ROOMS OF HAPPINESS: Loving Yourself, Finding Your Purpose, and Getting Over Life’s Little Imperfections (Voice; March 2, 2010; $24.99), they use the simple metaphor of a house to illustrate the central problem: when women should be grateful for what they have in their lives in the room at hand, they are either seeing the room’s imperfections or, worse, worrying about another room.  The book takes women through different parts of their lives (homes), helps them understand their patterns, and gives them new ways of thinking to solve their own problems.
Each room represents a facet of a woman’s life:
    - the bedroom is about issues with intimacy—sex, love, desire, and the connection to a partner;
      - the bathroom is about issues of health, vanity, body image, weight, and aging;
    - the kitchen is about food, nourishment, and cooking; it is also the place to discuss household chores and the division of labor;
      - the office/study is about work, career, money, and financial security;
    - the living room is about social connections: friendships, neighbors, and social experiences;
    - the family room is about family ties, siblings, parents, and other nearest-and-dearest;
    - the basement is about memories—childhood, college years, and important life experiences;
    - the kid’s room is about parenting issues, including the question of whether or not to have children.
    - the attic is about family expectations, the desire to create one’s own legacy, and other emotional heirlooms; and
Danziger and Birndorf evaluated problems that came up in hundreds of interviews with women to find out why a woman’s jubilation or even just self-satisfaction tends to be fleeting, and why the extended periods between those joyful moments are plagued by the inability to appreciate all the good around her.

Does anyone really have it all?  Are new ways of communicating and social media changing habits?  And how can women learn to live with conflict or let go of their own unrealistic expectations that everything has to be perfect at once, and just be happy in the space they’re in?

It’s a universal reality that women are feeling stressed out even when most things in their lives are great. Many women look in the mirror and compare themselves to friends who look ten years younger.  Some feel like failures even though they’re happy with their career and husband, but are having a friend issue. Others feel crazed all the time but always want to do more. How can a woman have it all—the family and the job, time for herself and time for others—without feeling like she’s shortchanging herself in any of those areas?

Filled with testimonials from women, THE NINE ROOMS OF HAPPINESS addresses issues relating to women’s sex lives, money issues, in-laws, siblings, friendships, career pressures, and body hang-ups andprovides prescriptive advice so readers can tackle their own anxieties, find fulfillment in their lives, and avoid potential pitfalls in the future.  The stories are riveting, the advice accessible, and the pearls of wisdom memorable and useful.

This book offers insight and strategies for dealing with issues that chip away happiness—and gives women new ways of thinking to break their old self-destructive patterns. With this book, readers will learn not only how to be happier in every emotional room, but also how to live in the moment and enjoy each room—joyfully accepting, improving and appreciating themselves and their lives.

The Hockey Gods Have Just Smiled Upon Team USA: The Gold Medal Game Goes Into Overtime! Go USA!

Peachy Deegan wrote a term paper at Boston College on the rise of Americans in the NHL, and the goal by Zach Parise that just happened was more beautiful than anything we saw in all of fashion week, and we've seen thousands of goals and a good amount of fashion shows too.  Even Jeremy Roenick is nearly in tears as well during this last probable intermission (would we all last to a second overtime?)  Even if you don't like hockey, if you love sports or if you love the pursuit of excellence which you do if you read Whom You Know, you have an appreciation for what just happened.

This game has become increasingly exciting.  Tied up at 2, USA and Cananda are heading into overtime for the final period of the most exciting hockey game ever unless you are old enough to remember 1980 when it actually happened - of course we have all seen the video and we love it.

If you want to be inspired and see human beings pursue a goal for the pure love of the game and nationalistic endeavors, put your tv on this minute.  You are guaranteed the overtime of all overtimes!  May the best team win.  GO USA!

Yves Rocher’s Cure Solutions Skin Care Line The solution to fighting the damaging effects of aging on the skin. Whom You Know Recommends YVES ROCHER – Anti-Asphyxiation Flash Mask

We are totally into taking care of our skin at Whom You Know, and we are so pleased to continue our coverage of Yves Rocher!  We next tried the Anti-Asphyxiation Flash Mask.  Here is what our panel thought:

As women, we are all striving to maintain the best skin conditions we possibly can and prevention of skin aging is a top priority in our daily lives. There are so many products out there that promise to achieve a youthful appearance, but so many that do not deliver. That is why I’m always on the search to find that special product that does what it says, and the Yves Rocher Anti-Aggressions mask is a very unique and special find.

     I knew that I wasn’t going to be disappointed because my mother has been using Yves Rocher products for years, and is always boasting about how great it is. The plus side to this company, besides the effects of the skincare line, is that the ingredients are botanically-based and there is no animal testing. The main ingredient in the Anti-Aggressions Anti Asphyxiation Flash mask is the Moringa plant, which is capable of fighting skin asphyxiation due to atmospheric pollution, climatic aggressions, and dust and polluting particles found in the air. All these factors aid in skin aging, and with consistent use of the mask, you will be able to reverse these harmful, unwanted effects.
  As I applied the mask to my face after properly cleansing it, I was taken back by the pleasant scent of what seemed to smell like a combination of Aloe Vera and a mixture of different plants. It instantly made me think of a spa, and the scent of the mask had a very tranquil effect. The mask itself is not messy and easy to apply. In fact it’s quite colorless, and like I said before, smells fantastic. The directions read that in just 5 minutes, skin is smoothed, soothed and your complexion is visibly more radiant. And that is just what I got! After 5 minutes of leaving the mask on my face, I felt it tingling as if all the toxins were being expelled by the solution. After washing my face, I saw and felt a major difference: my skin felt tight and silky, the appearance of the pores was minimized and I had a healthy glow to my complexion as if I just had gotten a facial! This product definitely gets my approval and admiration, and I will definitely be using this on a regular basis.

Yves Rocher Cure Solutions Anti-Aggressions Anti-Asphyxiation Flash Mask in minutes does what it's supposed to do. Your face goes into a battle with every day pollutants in the air around us every single day. With the help of this mask in just minutes it restore the look of your skin.  This product brings you skin back to life! It eliminates your dull skin into a flash of beauty!  The wine red gel contains products that remove dust and polluting particles from the skin. Leave it on for 5 minutes and wash it right off! Watch your face radiate! It also helps sooth out your wrinkles and relaxes the skins texture for a brighter and smoother feel. This is a great product to have your face look young, clean, and vibrant.

YVES ROCHER – Anti-Asphyxiation Flash Mask is a terrific product to enhance your youthful looks.  The secret Moringa plant allows this flash mask to work effectively to reduce the signs of aging, which comes with aging and environmental conditions.   The flash mask applies smoothly and effortlessly taking only a few minutes of your time bi-weekly.   It instructs you to apply a thick layer to cleansed skin, leaving on for only 5 minutes, then rinsing well.  The YVES ROCHER – Anti-Asphyxiation Flash Mask comes in a convenient tube, easy to use.  It has a pleasant smell that does not interfere with any fragrance you may be select to wear.  The results are smooth and flattering.  I just love it!  Thanks YVES ROCHER!
Just what the skin doctor ordered!  Usually I take a week to really feel the results of a skin product.  All of this scientific information is a lot to sink in but the true beauty in this product is that your skin will notice the difference.  I actually tried the mask at night and used the cream during the day. The anti-asphyxiation flash mask will help regain your skins luminosity.  I left it on for 5 minutes and then rinsed, enjoying my inner beauty glistening.  I am a product junkie and I actually feel the results!  After a cold winter in the city this is the perfect pick me up and doesn't cost a trip to a dermatologist!!

Whom You Know recommends the YVES ROCHER – Anti-Asphyxiation Flash Mask !

Yves Rocher’s Cure Solutions Skin Care Line

The solution to fighting the damaging effects of aging on the skin

More than 80% of the causes of aging skin are linked to the environment and to lifestyle. Yves Rocher has created Cure Solutions, a skin care line to counter these external factors. These include changes in seasons, aggressive and polluted environments, constant stress, fatigue and overwork. This powerhouse skin care line is suitable for women of all ages because these external factors begin to act on the skin very early on. The products are cures to be used as complements to the skin care products you use all year long. There are two types of cures: Cure Solutions Anti-Aggressions with Moringa Peptides, powerful shields of active ingredients that block environmental aggressors, and Cure Solutions Anti-Fatigue with Red Vine Polyphenols, which tone the skin and irrigate it with renewed energy.

Cure Solutions Anti-Aggressions
STOP AGGRESSIONS AND SAVE THE YOUTHFUL BEAUTY OF YOUR SKIN

Our skin is constantly under attack from environmental aggressors. Pollution, free radicals and thermal extremes tarnish the beauty of your skin throughout the day.

The ANTI-AGGRESSION SECRET OF MORINGA PEPTIDES

Yves Rocher is breaking fresh, new ground with a new botanical active ingredient called Moringa Peptides, molecules with the ability to fight against environmental aggressors that accelerate the skin aging process. In Africa, the Moringa has been nicknamed “the miracle tree” for its healing leaves, its nourishing fruit, and its seeds that have the extraordinary power to clarify water filled with dust and impurities and make it clean enough to drink. It is at the heart of these seeds that Yves Rocher Botanical Beauty research has isolated Moringa Peptides, veritable shields of active ingredients with proven dual anti-oxidant and anti-asphyxiating properties. These Moringa Peptides actively fight against skin oxidation and prevent polluting particles from sticking to your skin.

Every day, your skin must deal with asphyxiating skin aggressors suspended in the air, such as exhaust fumes, irritating particles and dust. These physically suffocate and asphyxiate the skin. In just minutes, the Anti-Asphyxiation Flash Mask, enriched with Moringa Peptides, de-asphyxiates, soothes and frees your skin of dust and polluting particles. Your complexion regains its luminosity. To help eliminate the most embedded particles, leave on for 5 minutes, then massage with your fingertips using small circular motions. Rinse with clear water.

Your skin also has to deal with another type of aggressor on a regular basis: oxidizing aggressors, such as the ozone, free radicals and heavy metal molecules that chemically attack your skin and oxidize it like rust on metal. Yves Rocher’s 24H Antioxidant Shield Serum enriched with Moringa Peptides protects your skin from oxidation, forms a barrier against polluting particles and helps repair damages to your skin. This smooth serum fuses to your skin like a sheath for even closer protection. Its powdery, silky finish makes an excellent base for makeup. Used every day for one month, alone or as a pre-treatment, this serum will smooth out wrinkles and fine lines, strengthen your skin and revive your complexion.

Cure Solutions Anti-Fatigue
FREE YOUR SKIN FROM SIGNS OF FATIGUE

Skin fatigue is a slowing down or malfunctioning of the skin’s youth-sustaining life force mechanisms. The texture of the skin changes and becomes irregular and rough; the color of the skin changes; the complexion becomes uneven and tarnishes to the point of becoming dull; grooves appear on the surface of the skin; wrinkles settle in …

Yves Rocher Botanical Beauty research has found an effective way to fight skin fatigue by working on the metabolism directly involved: skin irrigation. Over 100,000 km long and present in every layer of the skin, the internal system irrigates every inch of your skin.

THE FATIGUE FIGHTING SECRET OF RED VINE POLYPHENOLS

Yves Rocher Botanical Beauty research has opted for Red Vine leaf extract, naturally rich in Polyphenols, and proven its effectiveness in fighting skin-aging fatigue. Traditionally recognized for its toning properties (stimulates the body’s internal irrigation system), this leaf contains Polyphenols, which have the ability to strengthen the small vessels. Powerful skin stimulants, these Polyphenols flood the skin with revitalizing nutrients and help promote irrigation on a deep level, leaving your skin visibly free of signs of fatigue.

READ THIS: The Great American Heart Hoax by Michael Ozner, MD

There are lots of ways to improve your life, but if you aren't healthy, your entire quality of life obviously will be in vain. In The Great American Heart Hoax, we learned that America has 5 percent of the world's population and we perform 50 percent of the world's bypass surgeries and stent placements. Not good.

What is the problem? Whom You Know recommends you read this book to educate yourself.

There are many, and in The Great American Heart Hoax, Dr. Michael Ozner tells us how to PREVENT problems from happening, as he is concerned with the number of inappropriate and unnecessary procedures that are performed. We are strong advocates of keeping you healthy and out of the doctor's office! This is the general problem: once there is a problem, medical treatments can help the problem but you yourself are the key to stopping the problem from starting in the first place, and of course this has to do with lifestyle.

Manhattan is arguably the most stressful place in the world, but there are many options here for burning off that stress in productive ways. Ozner identifies the Mediterranean diet as a key to success and states that "the people living in the Mediterranean basin were getting better results with a knife and fork than we were with all our fancy equipment and advanced technologies."

The book begins with a history of the evolution of medical knowledge in regards to the heart, and you need to have the stomach for this until about page 76. Although bypass surgery does reduce chest pain, Ozner states that surgical solutions come up short and do not lower the death rate or prevent heart attacks.

We think Ozner would like our recommendations in Peachy's Pantry.

Peachy Deegan is not a doctor, but we are right on target. Of course, exercise plays a big part, and reducing stress plays a big part too. Also, Ozner advocates napping which sounds fabulous to us. We have no idea however where the nap centers are in Manhattan but we are curious to find out. We hope they have Pratesi sheets like The Surrey hotel.

Ozner's 10 Keys to Success are found on page 179 and we highly suggest you heed them. Read The Great American Heart Hoax Says Whom You Know!

An Ounce of (Low-Cost) Prevention Is Worth $100,000 of Surgical Intervention

The bad news: Most heart surgery is unnecessary, and most surgical interventions are costly, risky, and ineffective because they don’t address the underlying cause of heart disease. The good news: Heart disease is preventable and reversible, and the best clinically proven way to cure it is both safe and low cost.

The newest book by internationally acclaimed cardiologist Michael Ozner, MD, The Great American Heart Hoax (BenBella Books, 2008), offers the first eye-opening look inside the cardiology industry’s refusal to acknowledge that the current surgical treatments for heart disease aren’t working.

Citing numerous scientific studies on the high risk and low efficacy of bypass surgery and angioplasty—70 to 90 percent of which are unnecessary and don’t prevent future heart attacks—Dr. Ozner shows readers why they should avoid these procedures. More important, he shows heart patients what to do instead. Dr. Ozner has been practicing preventive cardiology for nearly three decades, and his noninvasive approach focusing on lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise, stress
reduction, and the judicious use of medications has helped thousands of heart patients avoid surgery and live long, healthy lives.

He shows readers how to follow a delicious, inexpensive diet clinically proven to prevent and reverse heart disease, as well as promote weight loss in overweight and obese Americans who are desperately seeking a sensible dietary plan. Readers also learn:
•  When heart surgery is warranted—and when to avoid it
•  Side effects and dangers associated with heart surgery
•  Pros and cons of heart medications
•  Why diagnostic CAT scans and nuclear stress tests often do more harm than good
•  Dr. Ozner’s 10-Step Prevention Program—and tips on making it work for you
For heart patients as well as those wishing never to become a heart patient, this eye- opening book offers lifesaving advice your doctor should tell you about heart disease prevention—but probably never will.

Shankara’s Natural, Anti-Aging BioRegenesis Skincare Line Merges Western Science with Ancient Wisdom of Ayurveda. Whom You Know Recommends the Hydrating Cleansing Gele

100% of Company’s Net Profits Benefit Worldwide Service Projects

Los Angeles, CA—February 2010— An innovative entry on the beauty scene is the Shankara BioRegenesis Skin Care System, which includes the gem of the product line: Shankara’s transformational, proprietary Regenesis-Energen BioComplex, core component and catalyst within many of Shankara’s exclusive super-effective skincare solutions.  Whom You Know has been testing these products, and we began with the Hydrating Cleansing Gele.

Here is what our panel thought:

Being a huge skin care fan, I was very excited to receive products from Shankara.  I tried out the Shankara BioRengenesis Skin Care System.  After wearing make-up all day I started out with the Hydrating Cleansing Gele.  Light yellow in color, the Gel was very effective at removing my make-up.  Bonus points for the fact it cleaned off my mascara, which is a task in its self.....it left me with no panda eyes!  The gel foamed and was creamy in texture.  The fresh scent is just delicious.  My skin felt silky and nourished after application and rinse.

The hydrating cleansing gele is definitely one of a kind. I liked it so much that I replaced my old cleanser with it! I normally use it twice a day to give my skin that clean, refreshing feeling. I don’t have to worry about it ever leaving my skin feeling dry because it has a mild and non-irritating formula packed with natural ingredients like oils and herbal extracts. It leaves my skin feeling silky and hydrated every time I use it. Another great catch about this product is that you can use it to effectively remove your makeup! It works wonders.

Shankara Hydrating Cleansing Gele is a wonderful nourishing product that leaves the skin feeling healthy, moist and soft. The best part is that this product can be used with or without water which is great if you're in a rush. With the all of the natural ingredients that are in Shankara Hydrating Cleansing Gele the skin is kept well balanced and there is no need for toner. If you want your skin to be supple and soft then this is the product that you will need to use. It is also a wonderful product for those who have sensitive skin because its an organic, non-irritating, all natural substance.

Shankara’s Hydrating Cleansing Gele is unlike any other I’ve used.  When I’ve used specialty cleansers in the past, I’ve had mixed results.  Sometimes, my skin was left feeling tight and dry.  Sometimes it was left feeling a little oily, with a glistening look to it.  This Gele is just perfect.  My skin is left feeling clean, but without the drying.  And it’s moist, but without a greasy look or feeling.  This Hydrating Cleansing Gele is everything it promises to be.

HYDRATING CLEANSING GELE bursts with refreshing aromas once you first uncap it.  Then with only 1/4 teaspoon of this gele it is your pleasure to experience the cleansing effectiveness.  The marvelous mixture of ingredients soothes your face with complete softness.  This  HYDRATING CLEANSING GELE is suitable for dry-normal / and sensitive skin types.  It's suppleness enhances your face with each application.  I will continue to use this invigorating hydrating cleansing gele.

Shankara products combine the best of Western anti-aging skincare advances and the wisdom of ancient Ayurvedic tradition to create a line that provides skin with an unparalleled experience of nutrition, oxygenation, hydration and protection. All of the company’s products are natural, free of parabens, alcohol and they are PETA approved/cruelty free. Almost all products are certified vegan by PETA.

Developed in Shankara’s facility, the Regenesis-Energen BioComplex includes rejuvenating Ayurvedic herbal extracts and monoatomic elements of gold, rhodium and iridium, which are rare super conductors of energy. This unique complex interacts with clinically tested select plant, algae and herb extracts, fulvic electrolytes and peptide complexes as well as specific vegetable-derived adenosine triphosphate (ATP) – nature’s cell energizer. The synergistic impact of the skin-specific nutrients, select cold-processed herbal oil and essential oil blends, active ingredients, and powerful stabilized antioxidants produces a quantum effect in age prevention skin care.

Along with the newest advances in modern science, Shankara products are based in Ayurveda (which means “the science of life”), a 5,000-year-old system of healing originating in India, from which we derive knowledge of the youth-restoring effects and therapeutic uses of herbs and oils to bring balance to the body, mind and spirit. In Ayurveda, everything can be categorized according to its proportion of the three doshas (basic combinations of the five elements present in nature) including our mind-body (and skin) types. Radiant beauty and health is considered to be an outer reflection of the proper inner balance of the three doshas for our particular constitution.

The production process of the Shankara skincare line and how the herbs are incorporated is very unique and includes cold processing, which preserves the vitality and nutrients in the products’ raw ingredients, ensuring that the ingredients will not be destroyed by excessive heat, thus safeguarding their effectiveness.

The rejuvenating and balancing herbs of amla, ashwagandha, brahmi and neem, provide the cornerstone foundation of several Shankara formulations. These herbs have been carefully selected for their enhanced ability to deeply purify, repair, renew and protect the skin. Using an enhanced delivery system, powerful stabilized antioxidantsin Shankara’s products quickly penetrate surface layers to catalyze real change, delivering almost immediate topical improvement to your skin while products work to balance conditions from within. All products are pH balanced to protect the delicate acid mantle of the skin. As self manufacturers, Shankara can provide customers with the highest standards of product freshness and integrity.

Layering products according to the absorption rate, is the most effective way to deliver the maximum amount of nutrition to the skin for optimal results. Each Shankara treatment product  is formulated to enhance the activity of the next. Shankara's five-step program nurtures beauty by purifying and refining the skin, restoring balance, regenerating, and delivering nutrients, oxygen, hydration and anti-oxidant protection to the body’s skin cells.

The Shankara product line offers a full range of facial and body care products in both retail and professional sizes including cleansers, exfoliants, moisturizers, rejuvenators, masks, lotions and specialty products like cellulite and blemish support and more. Specialized products for professional use and aromatherapy are also available. Retail prices range from $20 to $53 per product.
As a line that combines Ayurvedic and Western qualities, Shankara products are adaptable within any modality of European or Eastern face and body treatment practice. Distinctive signature spa treatments harmonizing Eastern and Western techniques, customized spa services including menu concept design and customized protocols, and in-depth product training are offered.

In Sanskrit, the name ‘Shankara’  means, ‘Pure Beauty with Fully Blossomed Consciousness’, which reflects the company’s mission to play its role in bringing health and balance to the world. Especially relevant is how all of Shankara’s net profits fund global non-profit humanitarian programs supporting literacy, education, microfinance ventures for women and youth, disaster relief and rehabilitation projects, under the auspices of the International Association for Human Values (IAHV.org). Currently, the IAHV in association with the Art of Living Foundation is responding to the earthquake that has devastated Haiti.

Shankara aspires to help each individual attain inner beauty, outer beauty and the lasting beauty that is the hallmark of healthy balance.

Whom You Know highly recommends the Cuisinart CleanWater Countertop Filtration System! The more we use it, the more we love it.

We reviewed this fabulous new gadget last week:

The more we use it, the more we love it.

Not only does it clean your water, but it chills it to a perfect temperature of 44F/7C and heats it to what is just hot enough at 194F/91C.  Additionally, the energy saver function is so smart.  It reduces energy by more than 50% by turning off the hot when you aren't using it...
