Terrific Takeout: Heidelberg

Life is short, so why not start with dessert?
Peachy did in the case of Heidelberg.  We don't require dessert in our reviews but every smart restaurant gives it to us, and Heidelberg is obviously smart!
The homemade apple strudel with fresh whipped cream will make you throw caution to the wind if you are on any kind of diet...you know Peachy does not personally diet, and never has.
Plus, don't you think apples are healthy?!
We do.
Heidelberg is our first German feature ever, and we tried the Sauerbraten: Marinated Beef, Potato Dumpling and Red Cabbage.  Though we have not been to Germany, we think this is fabulously authentic and Heidelberg itself if you go inside seems very true to form.  A green salad made the meal complete!
