Terrific Takeout: Previti Gourmet Pizza

Owner Kevin Wade knows a thing or two about pizza, and everyone in midtown Manhattan from Monday to Friday is absolutely lucky that Previti pizza has been in operation for two years now. Using only the finest quality ingredients, Previti makes terrific pizza. If you think Kevin looks a little Irish for making pizza, you're right. Peachy is a little Irish for tasting pizza so it's ok. Kevin's wife is a Previti and so is her brother and the winning team of ownership is of course partly Italian...They make their own bread everyday, use the best tomatoes and cheese, and pay attention to little details like entertaining their guests with great music videos (we saw The Eagles-the Don Henley kind not the Doug Flutie kind but either would be ok! You know Doug Flutie has a band...) On our pizza, we tried pepperoni, red onions, green peppers, onions and roasted mushrooms and every bite was a delight.
Yes you should be gearing yourself up for the lunch hour! We know most people's jobs are not as much fun as eating pizza...located at 123 East 41st street they are not far from our friends at Cosmopolitan Dental and the best pizza we've found near Grand Central.
Their talent extends to sandwiches where we tried one we've never had before believe it or not: the Chicken and Provolone with Spinach Truffle Cream Sauce. You must try it. Go say hi to Kevin and try these, and see how Irish people can do pizza too! Now they need to open on the Upper East side...
