Italian Greens by Church Brothers Highly Recommended by Whom You Know! We are Thrilled to Kick Off Coverage of this Outstanding Produce Brand!

It's not who you know, it's WHOM YOU KNOW and we are pleased to now know the Church Brothers. They look like they have so much room out there in California, contrary to Manhattan!  We first tried the Italian Greens, which is so terribly appropriate as the Italian restaurants dominate our restaurant review column with a commanding lead over any other cuisine.  They were tops and it was a sad day when Peachy finished the entire bag...by herself!  They give you immense amounts of energy and are the appropriate balance the next day after an indulgent dinner review...
The Italian Greens is a delicate blend of US-grown tender Baby Kales (Scarlet, Blue and Black Kale) and Wild Arugula. Italian Greens is a Nutritional Powerhouse and a traditional Tuscan-style Salad, commonly served all over Italy but with origins in Tuscany. It can be used in salads, but also as a cooking item. Sauteeing or even Baking these Italian Greens can deliver spectacular warm side-dishes.
The Peachy's Pantry Panelists rave:
The nutritional benefits of kale and other green leafy vegetables have been hailed by health experts everywhere. It is vital to incorporate these vegetables in our diet if we want to live long healthy lives. What better way to do this than by starting off my meal with a healthy salad made with Church Brothers' Italian Greens (Kale Blend). Before the main course, I made a delicious salad with these greens along with some sliced grapes, slivered almonds, and a citrus vinaigrette. The greens were so crisp and refreshing. They made a perfect base for a wonderful salad. It was such a great feeling eating something that tasted so good, but something that was also making me healthier! Church Brothers' Italian Blend will now be my new routine way to start off every dinner!
Ah, Church Brothers, how do we love you ? Let me count the ways. The Kale Blend, or Italian greens that you have put together is superlative. As a mix, it tops them all, and then some. This is smoothie material, if ever there was such a perfect blend. There is no bitter aftertaste in your greens, so tell me, how do you do it? Your greens are tender, perfectly married, and now the new love in my life. It’s Spring, and my body wants to shed its winter skin. What better way than to have a salad every day, and what better salad than with Church Brothers’ greens? Top off any meal, as do the Europeans, with a salad after the main course. Or use this mix as the basis for a big bowl of smile-making raw. The foodies out there will be so happy to have met you! I’m staying in Church (territory), and turning my body around.
If you're looking for a great blend of greens, look no further than Church Brothers Italian Greens. A family owned and operated farm in Salinas, CA, Church Brothers takes great pride in overseeing every step of their produce production, from farming to shipping. This allows them to ensure the highest quality for all of their products, a quality which is evident from the first bite. The Italian Greens Blend is 1/3 black kale, 1/3 scarlet kale, and 1/3 wild arugula. This results in a crispy, tasty blend with a robust flavor. It is a versatile blend, which can be used in salads or sandwiches, or cooked and used as a hot side dish. I opted to create a salad with dried cranberries, grapes, and feta - delicious! Kale is one of the most nutrient-packed greens available, so not only does this blend taste great, but it's also extremely healthy for you! An all-around winner, thanks to Church Brothers!
The Church Brothers Italian Greens were just phenomenal! The combo has a hearty flavor with fabulous texture variations, not to mention that it's beautiful. So while my chicken was baking, I steamed asparagus tips and toasted portobello mushrooms, and half-sliced a little more than a handful of grape tomatoes. With balsamic vinegar (no oil), avocados, and pecans the salad was tossed, then blue cheese crumbled on top. Just so you know, I've made this salad before, and it was always about the goodies. But this time, it was those greens that made it.
I didn't even eat the chicken!
