Marcony is one of our favorite venues and it's one we had to feature for our fall kickoff.  A green salad is a must for every meal and we tried the Mediterranea: baby field greens, cherry tomatoes, olives, capers, roast pepper and carrots marinated in white wine and olive oil were a refreshing start along with the sensational house dressing of balsamic reduction.
The mark of a restaurant that does things right is one that does octopus to perfection and Marcony does!  Polpo alla Griglia!  Grilled octopus with shaved fennel, arugula, fresh citrus, evoo and balsamic reduction was every bit as tender and succulent as you would hope, and beautifully arranged as well.  You must order this.
It would be a sin to go to Marcony and not try their amazing pasta and Claudia recommended Tortellori Marcony, which is simply exquisite.  Spinach and cheese filled fresh pasta with black and white truffle cream sauce will blow you away and you will be delicately dunking your bread to soak up every last drop of this superior pasta.
As an entree, Peachy opted for the Salmon Filet which was seared to medium as asked for flawlessly.  The fish was so fresh and flavorful in every bite, and the seasonal vegetables were the perfect complement.  A white wine glaze sauce was the final unforgettable touch.
Bravo Marco and Claudia!
Marcony is Terrific Takeout!
