Whom You Know Congratulates their new President, Elizabeth Ann Stribling-Kivlan:

We wouldn't have done it any differently if we cast it ourselves! It doesn't get any better than Neeson, Moore and Dockery. Non-Stop is without a doubt one of the masterpieces of 2014.  Originally debuting on the big screen in February, Non-Stop will be making its debut on your own personal big screen on June 10th, and we can't remember the last time we were so excited for a DVD release.  We popped off the computer as soon as it arrived and we watched it two times in a row, Non-Stop is THAT spectacular.  If you are also an adrenaline junkie but don't really like to put yourself in harm's way like Peachy, you will be absolutely enthralled from the start, and living vicarious action like this can only be rivaled by the New York Rangers playing in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.  (That has not happened in 20 years, and we hope Liam will be cheering for Boston College hockey when his sons possibly attend...they did tour BC we understand.  Some of us were tour guides too early.)  Michael Collins was released when Peachy lived in Cork, and she saw it in Cork (the real Collins was from West Cork we believe.)  Ever since, we've made a point of seeing anything Neeson is in and we are honored to review his work.

Welcome to Aquaatlantic Airline!  We're thrilled to see Michelle Dockery playing a thoroughly modern Lady Mary, and this time in a downstairs role in service!  Imagine, waiting on people; Anna (her maid) you've got to see this.  Her hair's shorter and she's entered the 21st century; Michelle absolutely proves her versatility as an actor in Non-Stop.  It's the first time we've seen her outside of Downton Abbey (the only tv series we reviewed by episode as well as series...).  We once met Julianne Moore at a soiree at Bergdorf Goodman and she's a total peach.  We applaud her character's choice of a G&T for the plane ride, and as you pay attention to evolving details notice who gets a water and not what she's having - order not noted.
The script was just as strong as the acting and casting, and the reality of the situation-and what a situation it is!-sadly could be very real today in this age of terrorism.  Liam Neeson as Bill Marks is clearly ready for any curve thrown at him, and plays an entirely convincing role as a US Air Marshall.  If we were on a plane at risk of going down, we can't think of anyone better in this role and we're sure the horses of Central Park would quite agree.  (Keep those horses in the park, New York City!)  Neeson takes control of the situation like only he can, and in his own words his character absolutely does MAN UP.  Marks needs to accurately assess characters and situations in milliseconds and act on his instincts.  This movie will prompt discussion about gun control, violence, bombs and worse but the real problem underlying it is disturbed people that need help.
Few things in life are as unnerving as random anonymous threats and possibly even more so when they're in the form of electronic communication like a text in this case.  A trip across the pond to London is anything but a walk in the park as the horrific catalyst text message erupts and ignites the action sequence, and Marks is the epitome of cool under pressure for the most part.
Earned accolades to the cameramen who must not have had much space to capture such tremendous footage!  And to the builders and designers of the airplane set as well.  Believe it or not the vast majority of this is filmed in the plane, which is further testament to the acting ability cast paired with the strength of the script.
Eerie shades of blue permeate the screen, evoking further suspense and terror as the plot unfolds; the color choices set the mood accurately.  Who on earth would text: "I'm going to kill someone on this plane every 20 minutes." How would YOU text back? Tweet us your responses!  We'd like to escape alive- you'll be sitting on the edge of your seat to see if anyone makes it.  This is a movie we recommend you do not eat during...not since Kemal Pamuk have we seen Dockery in such distress.
To add insult to injury, not only is there a major threat that needs to be addressed but also there's framing.  The script is highly intelligent and has excellent unexpected twists which propel the story forward.
There's a real whodunnit feel: a real Clue game on steroids in the air.  However, the drug in question happens to be cocaine...and what could be beneath it...when you see the final results and who's who and what their intentions are, you will be stunned.
A final note to Henry the Bear who debuts early on-are you related to Paddington?  The little girl that's the recipient of this bear does a fantastic job and we look forward to seeing what she does next; she's quite the little actress.
You'll become even more appreciative of those that strive every day to keep America safe.  And when are we really safe?  The pulsating drama will also grip you the next time you yourself are on a plane high in the sky.   Who's the marshall with you?  This script is completely unique and that alone is reason enough to see this blockbuster.
Gripping excitement, a quite literally killer plot and acting that can't be beat will all be the bottom line in entertainment that lives up to its name: Non-Stop.

Non-Stop has earned Whom You Know's Highest Recommendation.
