#WonderWoman by Warner Bros. Pictures Starring @GalGadot Directed by @PattyJenks Highly Recommended by Whom You Know Makes Its American Debut June 2, 2017!

"If no one else will defend the world, then I must!"
-Diana of Themyscira
#WonderWoman is the blockbuster hit of this summer and you heard it here first!
Patty Jenks's fantastic work is going to wow you at every turn and slice of the sword.
Though the sword and the golden lasso are tremendous, we loved Wonder Woman's use of her stellar shield the most.
Opening in Paris, then filled with flashbacks, Wonder Woman hits all the high points starting with phenomenal settings.  From the beauty of the waterfalls from the amazon land where she grew up to Wartime World War I to the suffragette era of London, the places are second to none.  The acting was spot-on and this was cast well.  It's the most intelligent superhero film we've ever seen and the best we've seen since Man of Steel with Henry Cavill, and it's even better.  For anyone that thinks action and intelligence cannot coexist in film, you need to see this.
Playing Diana, princess of the Amazons/Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot we were entirely unfamiliar with before seeing this, but we're impressed.  She reminds us a bit of Keira Knightley and her genius execution in Pirates of the Caribbean series.
The mythical aura perfectly frames scenes without overdoing it in the year 1918, giving it remarkable authenticity for a work of fiction.  Gadot is clearly at the top of her game physically and all action shots, the leaps in particular, are inspiring and empowering to watch.

The most impressive aspect to us was the score, which was outstanding.  The music is spot-on appropriate at each and every moment and we cannot ever remember saying that about any film ever before this.
The costumes are superlative, and the chemistry between actors, particularly between Gadot and Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, culminating in a snowflaked scene in Belgium where they dance in the moonlight.  Producer Richard Suckle says: "There is chemistry, and the movie does allow for that to play out within this huge action adventure, and without a damsel or dude in distress.  They need each other, they learn from each other, and they're equals."
"There's a purity to Wonder Woman that I love," says producer Zack Snyder.  "She doesn't have a broken past, she's not seeking revenge on people who wronged her and she isn't coming from a dark place.  She had an idyllic childhood and was taught to value life.  She can be a hero purely from a place of wanting to do what's right in the world, which is really cool, and I think both Patty and Gal found the perfect way to convey that in the movie."
Pine comments on his character: "He's a classic kind of early 20th century depiction of masculinity.  He's rough and roguish.  He's got a sense of humor about himself, and is realistic without being righteous, romantic without being saccharine.  He's earnest about his mission and wants to do right by those he serves, but he doesn't have to please everyone.  He's a great maverick."  (Speaking of Maverick, we'd like to review Top Gun 2, whoever does that!)
As they head into battle, Wonder Woman and her warriors remind us of the quintessential team from the movies: Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion.  Each character is precisely that and the men exaggerate their characters to a T.  Diana cannot be exaggerated as she's perfect-Gadot as Wonder Woman.  Charlie, Sammy and The Chief each add their own charm.
"Diana is set apart from most comic book superheroes by her gender, but it's her approach to justice that I believe really makes her unique," comments Gadot.  "She not only wants to rid the world of evil by taking out the bad guys, [but] she also wants to encourage men and women to be the best human beings they can be, and she does this through love, hope and grace."
Starting tomorrow, Wonder Woman will be well on her way to becoming the newest modern classic!
Wonder Woman is Highly Recommended by Whom You Know.

“Wonder Woman” hits movie theaters around the world this summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins (“Monster,” AMC’s “The Killing”). Joining Gadot in the international cast are Chris Pine (the “Star Trek” films), Robin Wright (“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” Netflix’s “House of Cards”), Danny Huston (“Clash of the Titans,” “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”), David Thewlis (the “Harry Potter” films, “The Theory of Everything”), Connie Nielsen (Fox’s “The Following,” “Gladiator”), Elena Anaya (“The Skin I Live In”), Ewen Bremner (“Exodus: Gods and Kings,” “Snowpiercer”), Lucy Davis (“Shaun of the Dead,” FX’s “Better Things”), Lisa Loven Kongsli (upcoming “Ashes in the Snow”), Eugene Brave Rock (AMC’s “Hell on Wheels”) and Saïd Taghmaoui (“American Hustle”).

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Patty Jenkins directs the film from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg, story by Zack Snyder & Allan Heinberg and Jason Fuchs, based on characters from DC. Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston.

The film is produced by Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder and Richard Suckle, with Stephen Jones, Geoff Johns, Jon Berg, Wesley Coller and Rebecca Steel Roven serving as executive producers.

Joining Jenkins behind the camera are director of photography Matthew Jensen (“Chronicle,” “Fantastic Four,” HBO’s “Game of Thrones”), Oscar-nominated production designer Aline Bonetto (“Amélie,” “A Very Long Engagement,” “Pan”), Oscar-winning editor Martin Walsh (“Chicago,” “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit,” “V for Vendetta”), and Oscar-winning costume designer Lindy Hemming (“The Dark Knight” trilogy, “Topsy-Turvy”). The music is by composer Rupert Gregson-Williams (“Hacksaw Ridge,” “The Legend of Tarzan”).

Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Tencent Pictures, an Atlas Entertainment/Cruel and Unusual production, “Wonder Woman.” The film is scheduled for release on June 2, 2017, and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

This film has been rated PG-13 for sequences of violence and action, and some suggestive content.
