Great Gathering of Chefs October 18
Join Action Against Hunger and the likes of Emeril Lagasse, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Daniel Boulud and Christopher Lee for the fifth annual "Great Gathering of Chefs" celebrating the launch of acclaimed food photographer Alan "Battman" Batt's newest coffee-table books with recipes, Small Things Sweet and Small Things Savory. Come early to meet the chefs then head to a wine-paired tasting of sweet and savory dishes from 20 of New York's top restaurants including Adour, Aquavit, Asiate, Aureole, Avoce, Blue Smoke, David Burke's Townhouse, Dovetail, Gilt, Jean Georges, Les MaƮtres Cuisiniers de France and Olana. Event Details:
$250 gets you to mingle with the chefs over hors d'oeuvres and beer and to attend the tasting. The first 200 reservations receive either Small Things Savory or Small Things Sweet signed by the attending chefs.
$150 Admission to the tasting plus an unsigned copy of Small Things Savory or Small Things Sweet. $125 Admission to the tasting only.
