Usually we eat crabcakes in a restaurant under the column Peachy's Picks, however, these were delivered with cheer from Pierre Lion of Versailles delivery.  Peachy can write more posts for you with delivery!  You can see from the picture that the presentation is just as exquisite as the crabcakes themselves, which were EXCELLENT.  The crabmeat just bursted throughout the delectable cake with vigor and the tartar sauce was of the perfect tartness.  The consistency was perfect and they weren't too breaded like inferior crabcakes can be.  The size, just about the diameter of a golf ball, was perfect for handling and these would make an excellent hors d'oeuvre at your next cocktail party, and if you want Peachy to cover it, you should bribe her with these.  She responds very well to crabcake bribes!  Testing Crabcakes are our standard for just about everything, and we met Pierre Lion through a mutual friend who shares our champagne enthusiasm; of course it's not who you know it's WHOM YOU KNOW...what could be better than crabcakes and champagne?  We are still thinking....they are from a line of Party Platters that Versailles offers and if you don't love love love crabcakes with Peachy Deegan enthusiasm, certainly something on their menu will entice you.
