Our recommendation for cleaning plush is the following:

First check to see if there are any specific care instructions printed on a tag on the item.
If no care instructions are given, we recommend placing the item in a lingerie bag and washing on gentle cycle, no bleach.
Either air dry or put in dryer on low heat and no ironing

Standard plush, particularly with no plastic parts can be placed in a pillowcase and washed on gentle cycle and fluffed in the dryer. Otherwise it is better to surface clean with a damp cloth and lay our to dry.
