#Spring is Here #Manhattan - Celebrate the Bounty of the Season with Exclusive Springtime Picks at @AmmosNewYork !!! By #DimitrisNakos 52 Vanderbilt Avenue #EatRealFood #PeachysPicks

Founder and Owner of Ammos Estiatorio, Athens native Dimitris Nakos with his signature masterpiece,
Salata a la Dimitri
Welcome to Spring!  We are visiting our favorite places for the season of printemps and kicking off the list is Ammos Estiatorio, a Peachy's Pick Since 2011!  Salata a la Dimitri is the new modern classic and is the coveted day-brightener for all of the industrious midtown businesspeople and enthusiastic tourists alike. In vivid color and nutrition in tandem, baby arugula and mixed greens, mixed berries, strawberries, dry Kalamata figs, Macadamia nuts, cashews, Greek honey and garlic balsamic vinaigrette dressing combine for a fragrant, delicious edible song of the season. Cheese enthusiasts may opt to add feta or goat cheese.
Tuna Tartare is an appetizer superstar designed with 75% pure yellowfin tuna, and accentuated with diced tomatoes, scallions, cilantro, salt and pepper with cucumber on the side as well as crispy house-baked pita seasoned with salt and pepper.  Microgreens are the king of the mountain here!  This rests upon the Greek signature Tarama Mousse: Carp Roe Caviar!  It is even PEACHY in hue as you see in its closeup above.  Ordinary places have regular Tuna Tartare but the Mediterranean double seafood flair with the Tarama Mousse (made fresh every day)  really elevates this winner.
The Salmon entree is a triumphant answer to your springtime stomach rumbling and is beyond satisfying in the most elegant manner.  An eight-ounce generous cut is glorious with house-made zucchini pappardelle with sauteed mushrooms, and it truly does look this fantastic and it tastes even better.  We never edit pictures, and the truth is your dinner or lunch looks this spectacular when you know where to go.  It has just the right touch of crispiness outside while sealing in the natural moisture of the fish inside. And, it is a revelation in Ladolemono Sauce! (thank you Grokipedia for the Ammos Estiatorio refererence...it is too bad that AI doesn't have tastebuds but Elon does!)  Red bell pepper sauce encircles this gorgeous entree.
Finally, the Yogurt Flan with honey and cherries is the "Greek Panna Cotta," sealing the deal of spring on classy Vanderbilt Avenue, number 52 to be precise.  Double-strained Greek yogurt with heavy cream, butter and Ammos proprietary ingredients team up for a sweet closing.  You'll see that the succulent sour cherries are not only topping off the premium luxury dessert, but also are expertly nestled inside for you to discover: an unexpected highlight to make your day, even you Clint Eastwood!
