Tasty Tidbits: Lily O'Brien's Chocolate Cafe

Who does not love coffee and chocolate? This is a great combination, made even better by the fact that it is Irish! Yesterday Peachy Deegan had a wonderful cappuccino there with Owner Cathal Queally who is making quite a name for himself in this industry. Iced cappuccino and mocha are quite popular during this inaugural summer season in New York-Lily O'Brien's opened in March 2009.

The chocolate is absolutely exquisite and makes an excellent gift. You can buy boxes, bars, truffles...there is an extensive selection of the high-caliber treats.

However, you may be tempted to just eat them all yourself! Lily O'Brien's is Sex in the City without the wine. Chocolates are wrapped in bright colors, the interior design inside is great for catching up with friends over coffee and chocolate, and all we women would need to complete our happiness level is a shoe store to open next to it!

This luxury chocolate brand is on the rise in Manhattan! The Celtic Tiger has come in the form of chocolate to Bryant Park.

Lily O'Brien's is located at 36 West 40th Street:
