NIGHTLIGHT: Henry and James Deakin and their Remarkable Cufflinks at Scully and Scully

SCULLY & SCULLY CELEBRATES 75 YEARS OF RETAIL ON PARK AVENUE

MEET DESIGNERS OF THE WORLD’S FINEST CUFFLINKS SINCE 1786

Park Avenue’s landmark store Scully & Scully last night hosted a Champagne and hors d’oeuvres reception as part of their 75th Anniversary and to view the finest cufflinks made today.

After 75 years Scully & Scully - the fine home store well-known for its American and imported furniture, exquisite tableware, gifts and jewelry, and for its personalized customer service including interior design, bridal registry, tabletop consulting and corporate gifts - remains one of New York City’s most respected luxury retailers.

Henry and James Deakin, whose family has been making cufflinks in England since 1786, showed their extensive collection of fabulous cufflinks!  We cannot decide which we like the best yet but we saw some nice Bulldogs for you New Haven grads and we liked Henry's interactive skull  cufflinks with diamonds.  The lobsters were lovely also-they reminded us of our amazing lunch of lobster spaghetti at Serafina.  For 7 generations they have built their international reputation with over 1,000 designs and count celebrities and members of royalty among their clients.  Their cufflinks range from inexpensive, stylish, silver or colorful enamel designs, to dress sets in gold, platinum and diamonds.
