Rock Your Body: Deakin & Francis

Whom You Know first saw these outstanding cufflinks at Scully and Scully a couple of weeks ago and Peachy Deegan was pleased to meet Henry and James Deakin.  Founded in 1786, Deakin & Francis is today, seven generations later, still owned and managed by the Deakin family. They are very proud of their English workshops and their ability to produce fine quality handmade jewellery in precious metal, incorporating vitreous enamel and fine gemstones.

In recent times their specialty has become the manufacture of a magnificent range of gentlemen’s jewellery, the worlds finest cufflinks. The collection ranges from the classics to the wild, the subtle to the outrageous, and always maintains the finest attention to detail and quality.

When Deakin and Francis first produced cufflinks they were part of every gentleman’s attire. Today men and women wear them as a statement of wealth, style, tradition and humour. The collections encompass any occasion and personality and are worn by enthusiasts, celebrities and royalty around the world.

They produce well over 1000 designs, from a range of silver to the finest diamond and gem set selection in Platinum or 18ct Gold; the same quality is constant throughout all of their pieces. The archives go back to the 19th century and many models produced today are indistinguishable from the originals.

We look forward to our continuing coverage of this distinguished brand!
