WHAT: RAZZLE to the sounds of RIO DAZZLE in your Carnival costume and mask DANCE and PARTY the night away to the pulsating beat of Brazil Featuring music by DONNA D’CRUZ.

An artist painted during the evening, but we think the work would have been even more outstanding if she had a glass of Star Vodka in one hand!  Charles looks like he might bring her one...

This was one of the best events in Manhattan ever and if it happens again we would highly recommend it!  The venue, atmosphere, crowd, and overall event were outstanding, and of course the cause was the most worthwhile component of the evening. Proceeds benefitted The Lifeline Humanitarian Organization, founded by patron Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia in 1993. Lifeline continues to provide the most desperately needed humanitarian aid for Serbia’s medical facilities, handicapped children and orphans. Serbia has the largest refugee population in Europe. The country is also overwhelmed by both the highest incidence of breast cancer in Europe and the highest infant mortality rate. Lifeline is responsible for providing incubators to neonatal intensive care units throughout the country. For more event information, visit: www.princesball.org

Star Vodka was the premium drink of the evening of course and was a major draw for all guests; normally you will see Peachy with Champagne but not when Star Vodka is an option!  In case you missed it, here is an update:
Peachy Deegan really loves Star Vodka.  We haven't been counting every time we have mentioned it (actually we haven't been counting at all; we don't stop that is why we are approaching 3k posts) so out of curiosity we typed it in our dashboard and quite literally this post will be the 50th time we have mentioned it!  This was just a coincidence.  If you want to see for yourself put Star Vodka in the search bar at the top...

Last night Peachy Deegan became Cinderella and went to the Prince's Ball at Cipriani but to us it was really the Star Vodka ball.  Sure, there were three very nice Princes that we met but Star Vodka was the royal libation.  You will remember our friend Charles Ferri, (see his Mover and Shaker piece here)and Charles gave us an update on his fabulous brand.
Charles answered some questions for the Whom You Know Star Vodka enthusiasts.

Peachy Deegan: Since we reviewed it last summer, what new developments are there with Star Vodka?
Charles Ferri: First and foremost, we are continuing to provide a super high quality product and we have stayed true to what we are and that is an American Luxury vodka, showcased at the finest parties, events, and locations.  We have started to grow and add new locations but very cautiously.  I feel its important to take our time and make sure we are doing the right thing for our customers and tastemakers.  We actually say "no" more than we say "yes" to adding stores and venues, people say I'm crazy but I truly believe that is how you build a strong brand with a loyal following and it doesn't hurt that we have the smoothest vodka in the world!

How did Star Vodka become involved with the Prince's Ball?
I was asked by Catherine Saxton of the Saxton Group, her PR company.  She is the Chairperson of the Prince's Ball and brought the whole team together.  The minute she started talking to me about the event I knew it was a perfect charity and event for Star Vodka and decided to personally get involved by agreeing to be a Co-chair on the event.  I am so pleased with being involved because it turned out to be one of the best events we have done so far.

What goes on behind the scenes in planning an event of this nature that most people would not realize?
haha - your looking for gossip and dirt huh? [No silly Charles you won't find that on Whom You Know!]  Well, let me just say if you have never been involved in an event of this size and nature you are in for a treat!  It is like one big roller coaster - highs and lows, conflicts, and disagreements, politics and heated arguments for months!  Yes, months! But what I realized as I went through this is we went through all these ups and downs because people really cared about throwing an incredible event for charity and making sure everyone that spent their hard earned money to come had the best time.  That is what these events are all about - having an amazing night in a great venue like Cipriani, drinking the best vodka in the world, and knowing that you are making a difference.  [The event really was absolutely spectacular; you will be reading about it in Nightlight next week.]

We liked your tuxedo.  Is Star Vodka going to develop an alliance with Versace now?
Thank you for noticing!  Actually I met Donatella Versace in London a few years ago and we were all going to a black tie event and I had nothing to wear!  She brought me into one of her stores and they fitted me with the most amazing tux right there and I went off to the event.  She is such a sweetheart and never asked for it back so lets keep it on the down low. haha
Did you arrive at Cipriani on Liberty Jet?  (just kidding).  In all seriousness, where is Star Vodka being sold now and where can we find it other than the store in the high 20's and Park other than when we fly on LJ?
Christian Deputy from Liberty Jet wanted to fly over Cipriani and have me parachute out but Bloomberg thought it was a bit over the top so we decided to cancel.  You can check out our website www.starvodka.net and see the locations we are currently in and always order online and we will ship Star Vodka directly to you.  We will be expanding to a bunch more in the next few months especially in the hamptons.  We will have a very big presence there this summer, we already have over 10 accounts in some of the finest liquor stores and restaurants out there so as long as we continue on that path I am happy to expand.

Were you pleased with the evening?
LOVED THE EVENT!!!

Thank you Charles.
