Key Lime Pie reminds Peachy Deegan of lovely days in Florida-the sun shining, the ocean peacefully waving along, seagulls flying by and Peachy eating Key Lime Pie for dessert.  Better yet, now she can eat it in her beloved Ben & Jerry's!!!  Enticed even more by the color - green - this flavor is perfection this summer.  Since we kicked off our coverage of Ben and Jerry's, there has been an exciting development: you can win it from us, here's how:

How exciting!  What could be better than winning Ben and Jerry's?  Key Lime Pie has come out as a limited edition flavor, and it is perfect to keep you cool during summer days.  Peachy's Pantry Panel put this to the test, and they rave:

I was introduced to Key Lime pie by my uncle Jim.  It was Uncle Jim's favorite dessert, and he would order it every time we went out to dinner and serve it every time he hosted a holiday dinner.  Needless to say, I got hooked on the stuff at a very young age. I've never been able to make it myself, though, and nobody makes it like Uncle Jim did, so I was very excited when I saw that Ben & Jerry's was serving up a Key Lime Pie ice cream in the supermarket.  Of course, I bought some, rushed home, grabbed a spoon, and dove in.  And then my mouth exploded with tangy, sweet, lime-flavored ice cream!   Every spoonful had swirls of meringue and chunks of pie crust. Ben & Jerry's never skimps on ingredients, and they always have the right flavor combo to satisfy even the pickiest taste buds.  Seems like they have something for everyone in their arsenal!  The only problem is that it tasted so good, reminded me so much of all the pies I ate courtesy of Uncle Jim, that I ended up  polishing off the whole pint in one sitting.

Ben & Jerry's has found a way to take my favorite pie and turn it into ice cream!  It has that wonderful tart flavor I love, with the hint of meringue and pie crust.  I haven't had a flavor I didn't like, but this is by far my favorite.  Since this is a limited edition flavor, I'll definitely have to stock up before I can't find it anymore!  This is one that I actually have to fight over, so extra pints won't last long in my house.  This is definitely one flavor that will be missed until it comes out again.  I wish Ben & Jerry's would make this flavor all year because I would absolutely buy several pints at time all year long!  This is one flavor I've told many friends to go out and buy who love Key Lime Pie!

Ben and Jerry's Key Lime Pie ice cream tastes like the real thing. Having pie as ice cream may sound too good to be true but it's here. This ice cream has the best sweet and tart flavor ever. I find the best part of a pie is the crust.  Yes here you have it CRUST! I love how the chunky pieces of crust crumble in my mouth. Oh yes I am in heaven! I have never loved ice cream as much as I love this one.
