Chez Peachy Exclusive: Everyone wants the little blue box but do they know about the little blue plate? WHOM YOU KNOW HIGHLY RECOMMENDS THE LITTLE BLUE PLATE BY MIKASA!!! And officially, it is called Studio Color in Turquoise.

Oooh la la we love love love Mikasa
and this is their latest and greatest.
EVERYONE is wishing for the little blue box this holiday season, but we want to draw your attention to this exquisite fine china.  Of course we want the little blue box,
but we also want the little blue plate.
And the medium blue plate.
And the big blue plate.
And the cup.
And the saucer.
Mikasa calls this Color Studio Turquoise/Platinum.
We call it the set we use when Peachy Deegan has the mean reds.
She knew it would cure them the minute she knew this fabulous Mikasa china existed.

Moon River, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day.
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker,
wherever you're going I'm going your way.

Two drifters off to see the world.
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end--
waiting 'round the bend,
my huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me.

"Moon River" is a song composed by Johnny Mercer (lyrics) and Henry Mancini (music) in 1961, for whom it won that year's Academy Award for Best Original Song. It was originally sung in the movieBreakfast at Tiffany's by Audrey Hepburn, although it has been covered by many other artists. The song also won the 1962 Grammy Award for Record of the Year.[1]

Disclaimer: Peachy Deegan has been long Tiffany's for many years, but she eats off of Mikasa.
Before either, she watched the 1961 classic starring Audrey Hepburn countless times,
and we dedicate this post in her memory.
