Terrific Takeout: Pazzia!

Tiramisu!
Tartufo!
Pera al Barolo!
Well if we are starting the review with three desserts you must be wondering where the three little pigs are?  Particularly right at the start of Fashion Week!  Well there is only one little pig and her name is Peachy Deegan and she is absolutely in love with the desserts at Pazzia.  And the dress she's wearing tonight to Fashion Week still fits.  Yay!  Pazzia is the latest and greatest little place on the Upper East side that you should know about.  It is related to Il Punto (that one is on 38th and 8th we were told) and Pazzia is at 1574 Second Avenue between 81/82.  And you need to go there for the dessert alone.  It has among the best Tiramisu's we've had, the Tartufo is great, and the Pera al Barolo-well, we hadn't had that before but we will certainly have it again it was superb!  Poached Pear with Barolo Red Wine & Cinnamon served with Panna Cotta will just melt in your mouth. 
For our entree Peachy selected the Risotto Al Frutti Di Mare which is Risotto with Mixed Seafood.  Fresh, Delicious and just the right texture, this dish of fish had the panache, style and flavor that we wanted.  The menu even for takeout at Pazzia is extensive and there seem to be a lot of fabulous choices for dinner as well.
The classic caesar salad ensured that even after three desserts, Peachy still would be able to get into her dress.  You should note that she eats about 10% of the salad dressing given to her at any of these takeout reviews though...so if you eat all of the salad dressing, we think you may have zipper trouble.
The cheese was shaved to perfection, the romaine was crisp, crunchy and commendable, and the croutons were delightful.  Anchovies and bacon also join the party.
A newcomer, Pazzia will delight and impress you!
