Peachy Picks Peacock Alley at The Waldorf Astoria

If your breakfast, lunch or brunch yesterday did not look this fabulous, we have one thing to say to you.
It is because you did not go to Peacock Alley at The Waldorf Astoria!
In our previous 66 recommendations in Peachy's Picks, every one of them has been for dinner and as a rule, we only do dinner.
Peacock Alley is the one exception; Bryan Woody, you were right.
If the Waldorf Astoria is good enough for the President to stay when he (or she in the future) comes to town, we decided it is good enough to break the rules of Whom You Know.
Boasting over 130 items, this total extravaganza has everything your little heart would ever desire right down to lovely caviar, which was exquisite.  We're going to let you look at the pictures for a moment and think to yourself, if this is not where you are going for your Sunday brunch, why not?

What did Peachy like the most?  Well you can see it on the plates...the fruit was amazing, the omelette station was spectacular, the seafood was out of this world.  Peachy adored the green beans.  The salmon in every flavor was out of this world.  The bagels were good.  The deviled eggs with caviar were lovely.  Both the coffee and the cappuccino were energizingly delightful.  The mimosa was made with orange juice and cava, and we know the Waldorf makes their own label of cava (not champagne; we distinguish as we are champagne purists here at Whom You Know) and was great....actually the only thing they did NOT have as far as we can see it was The Peachy Deegan, but perhaps that can be item number #131 someday.  Our esteemed panelist adds:

We recently had the great pleasure of eating brunch at the Waldorf Astoria's Peacock Alley restaurant. This storied establishment hosts an amazing smorgasbord of assorted delicacies for brunch served with ample Mimosas. The service was flawless and very efficient. The dining area was most charming and relaxing. We sampled various petite salads, smoked salmon, an egg casserole, fresh sushi rolls, vegetables and even a few miniature desserts. We highly recommend the brunch at Peacock Alley, esp. for a romantic date or special occasion/celebration.
