Peachy Picks Giorgio's Brick Oven Pizza

It's not who you know, it's Whom You Know and we are pleased to know Jetoni Ahl, owner of Giorgio's Brick Oven Pizza along with Eddie, and for short we call him Tony.
We call their pizza DELICIOUS.  But you should know they go beyond only pizza and wine...

Giorgio's Brick Oven Pizza was first featured in Terrific Takeout:
and then they graduated to Tasty Tidbits:
They are superfriendly and also love soccer we have learned.
The atmosphere lends itself to a chic club with music at a reasonable level adding the proper ambiance to a casual spot.
At just 14 months old, Giorgio's is young on the dining scene in Manhattan, but these months do not include the years of prior experience by both owners at fantastic Manhattan establishments that you have heard of...the cuisine at Giorgio's Brick Oven Pizza is absolutely superior to those of competing wine bars.  We always believe that when you go out for some wine you should have some dinner as well, and this is where you should go.  The Antipasto salad, featured above, boasts mixed organic greens, fresh mozzarella that will melt in your mouth, cherry tomatoes, shaved red onion and roasted red peppers.  If you like olives those are in there to join the party but you know Peachy Deegan asked them to please hold the olives!
The shrimp fradiavolo was spicy and smashing with shrimp as fresh as can be with a gorgeous red sauce that was a great complement to the Borgo Dei Vassalli Pinot Noir we sipped. A great neighborhood place for a casual place to eat with no sacrifice on the quality of food which is just great, Giorgio's is the place to go!

Our esteemed panel adds:
Despite its name, Giorgio's Brick Oven Pizza and Wine Bar has a lot more to offer than just great pizza. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the friendly staff, and felt right at home in the cozy atmosphere. The soft, warm bread they served us to start off with was the perfect sign of what was to come.
After enjoying the bread, I tried the Baby Spinach Salad. The salad was a combination of organic baby spinach, avocado, egg, corn, cherry tomatoes, and hearts of palm. With a splash of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, this salad was mouth-watering and delicious! I especially enjoyed the avocado! For my main course, I enjoyed the Penne with spinach, garlic, and sweet italian sausage in a tasty white wine sauce. This dish really hit the spot!
The sausage was juicy and tender, and it balanced perfectly with the spinach. My mouth is watering just thinning about it! Finally, I had to try a piece of Giorgio's Favorite Pizza. This brick oven pizza is topped with mozzarella, tomato sauce, spinach, red onion, portobello mushrooms, fresh garlic, and roasted peppers. This thin crust pizza brought one word to my mind immediately - Fresh! All the ingredients were so fresh! Let's just say that this pizza is not just Giorgio's favorite! I really enjoyed this meal, and I cannot wait to go back! If you haven't been to Giorgio's yet, I suggest you make a trip as soon as possible!
My Giorgio's Brick Oven Pizza began with the Greek Salad, which was very tasty and fresh. The feta cheese in the salad was moist and had the perfect amount. In addition to the right amount of mixed/fresh veggies, the tiny chopped olives were an amazing addition to the salad.
The Salmon Entrée is just delicious. There is a nice fresh seasoning on the lightly grilled fish which is great. The mix with the couscous makes for a really nice balanced dish.  Giorgio’s Pizza is truly unique. It is a mix of a pizza and salad in one! It is very light, fresh and tasty.
