Terrific Takeout: Bistro Nora

Bistro Nora is a brand-new, charming American Restaurant and Bar situated on 2nd between 83rd and 82nd, and their takeout and delivery is starting on Thursday, September 8th so says their menu. We wanted to give you a sneak preview! We began with the mixed green salad with the grilled chicken which was warm and a lovely contrast to the chilled salad with mesclun, iceberg, and tomatoes. They remembered to put the dressing on the side, thumbs up.

Mini crab cake balls were perfect for Peachy the crablover, and if you were to go into Bistro Nora for a drink these would be the perfect compliment. They love to swim in garlic aioli!

The moist and delicious salmon was grilled just right-not overdone, not underdone plus the mustard sauce was delightful-they call it beurre blance sauce. Yukon gold potatoes were fluffy and inviting and just what you want to start fall with.
