Terrific Takeout: ABV

ABV is one of the newest spots on the Upper East side and at eight weeks, ABV is certainly something to celebrate!  Peachy Deegan discovered it recently and was pleased to meet owner Alexis Kahn.  ABV stands for alcohol by volume, and when Peachy was waiting for her takeout she sipped on a nice red from Spain: Rioja Vina Santurina Crianza 2007...the name stands for Alcohol by Volume!  
A medium plate, above, is the Spring Gnocchi.  Appropriately named as spring is now upon us, this has terrific spears of asparagus, oyster mushrooms, Olga, and brown butter.
Below are the Roasted Scallops, which were our favorite.  Served with Cremini mushrooms, cauliflower cream and porcini vinaigrette, they are fit to be served to the royalty of New York!  The callops were succulent and short-lived.  We cannot wait to tell you more, and we will!
