Take a Trip to Washington D.C. and Back Again to Manhattan on DC2NY, Recommended by Whom You Know A Second Time!

When a brand is featured once, that is good, however when it is featured TWICE, you can feel that much better about it. There are a lot of brands that have been featured once but not twice, and there are many good reasons for that.  Here's the first feature on DC2NY:
There are many more great reasons why DC2NY is being featured again.
Among them are:
*We had a good experience the first time
*We like how clean it is.  As you know Peachy is a clean freak...clean and buses are not two words that can go together often accurately.  They even give every seat a garbage bag.  During allergy season this is especially key.
*We like most of the other people on this bus.  Of course, when you take any kind of public transportation you open yourself up to a variety of experiences, but with DC2NY you see mostly professionals and people you would actually not mind sitting next to on a bus for four hours.  We even met another girl from another beautiful Connecticut suburb who we are delighted to see is now subscribing to Whom You Know...
*We like how safe it is.  They drive 65mph.  Remember, this is not a Corvette!  We want to get there alive...
*We like how quiet it is for the most part.  Peachy was able to do more than two book reviews on the trip!  (hold your horses, we are not even done with the restaurant reviews from the trip...)You do have a movie option but both crowds we were seated with voted out the movie for the bus.  You also vote on whether to take one stop or drive straight.  We are drive straight people so were also lucky to be on buses that agreed with us there as well.
*Everyone in this company that we encountered speaks perfect English
*You get a bottle of water on the trip that is prechilled
*Richard Green, the CEO does a great job and is a responsive, proactive businessperson

DC2NY was established by some of the finest people in the hospitality and travel industry. All of their coach operators, dispatchers and customer service people are part of the management team committed to delivering an upscale travel experience that our guests deserve. Together they will give you the best service available in the metropolitan areas they serve. We can personally say that the CEO, Richard Green, is a total peach and someone you want to work with. You can see the biographies of management in the first post...

In Washington DC:

The Dupont Circle stop in Washington is conveniently located on the corner of 20th St and Massachusetts Ave NW (on the island between the CVS and the PNC Bank). At the top of the escalator at the Dupont Circle Metro Station (Exit on Q street North), and turn around, the location is on the far side of Massachusetts Ave NW.

Note: The last drop off in DC is Dupont Circle, same location as the pick up location.

In New York:

Penn Station
New York 33rd and 7th

West 33rd street near 7th Ave

This is an outdoor stop at the Northeast corner of the intersection. The bus will stop in the designated bus stop area on 33rd Street in front of Gourment Deli, 157 West 33rd St.

Note: the drop off and pick up location is right next to Old Navy.

If you are going to Washington DC from New York or vice versa and are pursuing the bus route, DC2NY is the absolute only way to go.
