The new Top Gear Season 19 from BBC Home Entertainment takes unexpected cars to the limit and beyond to find out if they are as good as their manufacturers claim they are. The show is full of extreme stunts and challenges; there is not one boring episode in the entire season. Some cars in this season include the Aston Martin Vanquish, SRT viper and Lexus LFA. This show is so good that it has won a BAFTA and multiple national television awards plus an international Emmy Award. During the season we see Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May involved in astonishing adventures and crazy stunts. Later in the season Jeremy invents the world’s smallest car and tests it in the streets on London. This was an extremely interesting episode to watch and amazing to me how small a car could actually be. I think it could fit under a tractor trailer truck for sure…This series is amazing for any type of person but especially men who love cars, just like my husband or women like Peachy. This series is entertaining, thought provoking, and enticing. I highly recommend this series to anyone who appreciates exquisite cars and wants to watch challenges that are playful, dramatic and unreal!

Welcome back James, Hammond, and Jeremy for yet another season of great reviews and automotive adventures that span the world! As someone who spent 13 years living in London and a lifetime automotive enthusiast, I have always appreciated the cars and the British humor. I love the fact all the car prices are mentioned in British pounds. By now, American viewers likely do the quick US dollar conversions. Right from the get go, love "the Stig" driving the Pagani to a new track record time. We all know that rallying is high speed and often dangerous. Putting the Bentley through the paces on the rally course was both exciting and very impressive! A very unlikely, luxury rally star. Staying with British luxury brands, how does a brand new Range Rover begin driving the refined and beautiful streets of Mayfair, London...and end up in the Nevada desert driving the seemingly impossible terrain against the military TerraMax. Vintage Top Gear! Once again, the Range Rover performance was impressive...and James looked like he was having so much fun. All the interviews are candid and Jeremy gets the guests to open up. For me, the banter with Formula 1 champion driver, Lewis Hamilton was especially fun. Why? He took his visit to the Top Gear set and track lap time very seriously. We all know when the guys head out for a road trip, it will involve adventures...and things going wrong. The multi-episode trip to Africa was such great television, but I suspect the guys were ready for a warm shower. BBC Home Entertainment has continued this great formula of fun, automobile review, and entertainment overall. Keep it going for years to come.

Another stellar season from our friends at BBC Home Entertainment bringing us one of my most favorite shows for gear heads, Top Gear (BBC version). Jeremy, Richard, and James have the best job in the world IMO. Who wouldn’t love a job to drive the most epic cars in existence, and not only drive them but put them to their limits, pit them against each other, or like putting a brand new Bentley GT on a rally course to see how it performs against a true rally car 1/2 its weight…and it does- save for some major road rash in the process! Toss in some very clever lines and good old fashioned English mockery, and you have a very entertaining take of what a car review should be. Bringing us in-depth visuals of the new Pagani Huayra (BTW pronounced- why-ra) is one of my more favorite pieces-Top Gear just gets what we want to see. Richard points out that this manufacturer is one of the last “true exclusive supercar automakers”, not concerned with branding “teddy-bears” i.e Lambo, and Ferrari! Then there's the trio getting involved in their constant one-upmanship in winning their races, whether its purchasing used clunkers for the task or keys to a new Vanquish- it always makes for interesting viewing. Classic Jeremy & Richard decide to extend the seat and peddle position (fit for a 6’ + tall male... lol) of a new SRT Viper that Richard is about to drive some 100 plus miles to Mexico! Even better, they yank the spark plugs to render them inoperable. It’s classic sabotage of the other’s car- and they do it very well. Filled with wise cracks and seemingly spontaneous humor, this season delivered as always. That’s why we love it, living out our adolescent dreams on a middle-aged budget...

BBC Home Entertainment's Top Gear series is always a big hit. Their most recent release, Top Gear 19 does not disappoint. This three disc set is 420 minutes of what Top Gear fans have come to expect- funny, informative and entertaining! The gang's travels in Season 19 include Las Vegas, Los Angeles, London and Africa. Some of their Season 19 shenanigans include a race against fighter planes, creating a car specifically for old people and a race against a train to find the fastest way to get from Britain to Italy for a football match! This three disc set also includes the Africa Special...you won't want to miss this! My husband loves this show and I have to admit, I have no objections to watching it with him; it's quite entertaining!  BBC Home Entertainment has quite a hit on its hands with Top Gear. If you like to be entertained, you'll really enjoy Top Gear. I especially enjoyed the Africa Special in Season 19...it was especially entertaining! I highly recommend BBC Home Entertainment's Top Gear Season 19!

Don’t miss the latest season of Top Gear with hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May as they take an incredible American road trip through Las Vegas, Los Angeles and a race against fighter planes before ending with a hair-raising run to the Mexican border. The trio also race a Shelby Mustang GT500 against a train in order to find the fastest way to get from Britain to Italy in time for a soccer match. Guests taking a spin in the “Reasonably Priced Car” this season include Homeland star Damien Lewis. It doesn’t stop there; take a trip across the seas with the team in the Africa Special, where the hosts embark on one of Top Gear’s legendary epic journeys in an attempt to find the source of the Nile River using three rather tired station wagons and a questionable sense of African geography. Along the way they encounter crocodile infested rivers, suspension snapping terrain and the world’s worst traffic jam.
