Once upon a time before she published 17,000 posts on whomyouknow.com, Peachy Deegan did a needlepoint. We think needlepoint is a lot of work, and we did not want ours on a pillow, which is not preserving it in our opinion. We wanted it framed behind glass to put on the wall! This poor needlepoint by Peachy was neglected until we had the pleasure of meeting Robin, who has an expert eye and exemplary craftsmanship.
Your pictures and anything frameable that is important to you personally or professionally is often one-of-a-kind, and picking a frame shop to properly set off your treasure is a huge commitment and a gamble you do not want to take. We've done all the work for you-just go to Robin! This needlepoint was amazingly set off by a kelly green mat of the proper thinness (Robin, like our Official Milliner Ellen Christine, is a master of proportion); this picked up a color in the needlepoint. Robin also added a white mat, and the gold frame was the ultimate in polished and classy from every angle. The glass was perfect. The end result was perfect. Not everyone in this world is as picky and fussy as us, but thank goodness Robin is.

She cares about every last detail and not only has a perfect hook on the back, but also she gives you the actual professional framing nail to go with it. The only thing you have to do is hammer it into your wall and put up your picture!
Robin has also thought of the plastic circle on the back so it does not nick your wall at all, and the frame is protected.

My mom opened her first shop down on Christopher Street in 1968. After her untimely death in 2010, it was my privilege to step into her shoes to honor her legacy, keep her indelible spirit alive, build the brand and be of service to her beloved clientele.
Aside from providing our clients with innovative products and outstanding service, we pride ourselves on “doing what we can, where we are, with what we have” to make a difference and support our community from donating framing for Housing Works “Design on a Dime” online auction to serving on Publicolor’s “Stir, Splatter + Roll” benefit committee to help raise money and awareness.
