Emirates Team New Zealand is in full event mode setting up for a return to the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series in New York this weekend (7th & 8th May).
It will be the first time America’s Cup racing has taken place on the New York harbour in 96 years, and is sure to feature plenty of sailing action in the one-design AC45’s against the backdrop of the iconic Manhattan skyline.

“This is certainly going to be a unique sailing regatta for everyone.” said Emirates Team New Zealand skipper Glenn Ashby.

“As always there are going to be the six teams not wanting to give an inch but fighting to take a mile out of each other - it will be full on but we are really looking forward to the challenge.”

Supporting Ashby will be star helmsman Pete Burling and crew Blair Tuke, fresh of their incredible 26th consecutive gold medal performance in the 49er Class as they continue their prep for the Rio Olympics.

The winning feeling extends to the America's Cup where ETNZ retains its position at the head of the leaderboard.
