It's not who you know, it's whom you know

In tenth grade English class, I sat at a table with about ten other girls under the tutelage of Mr. McQuilkin, who taught us all we know about the English language. Quoting Diane Sawyer from a graduation speech she gave, he always said: "It's not who you know, it's WHOM you know."
