The magic of Riverdance comes to the Bowery Kids stage with Irish Dance Champions Niall O’Leary and Louise Corrigan and their high-energy dance students. Dancers tell stories with their toes and make music with their heels. This completely interactive show gets families up on their feet and riverdancing like the professionals!

The show will also feature the Niall O'Leary School 'Dance Drama' and 'Ceili Team' entries for the World Irish Dancing Championships 2009 in their only performance before the big competition!


All ages.

Swing, boogie and dance as the playfulness of jazz gives fairy tales new life!! Children are transported into a magical world where chocolate pudding tames a wolf, bears boogie and sing the blues, and trolls and goats scat and dance on tippy toes over bridges. Jazz-A-Ma-Tazz Celebrates Moms!
Special Mother’s Day Show
A Bowery Poetry Club favorite, acclaimed family performer Hayes Greenfield and Jazz-A-Ma-Tazz be bop love and admiration to the ladies with this very special Mother’s Day celebration . Described by Philip Glass as the "True Pied Piper of Jazz," and referred to as "the jazz equivalent of Leonard Bernstein," Greenfield inspires the inner jazz musician in all of us. Scat, dance, and sing to jazzed up songs. Dads invited also! Musician kids should bring their instruments to the show. Always fun – always interactive! All ages.

Uncle Rock
Uncle Rock's three CDs of "rock of all ages" family music have won critical praise from The New York Times, the L.A. Times, the New York Post, and Cookie Magazine. Uncle Rock is Robert Burke Warren guitarist for a number of rock groups, including the Fleshtones and actor playing Buddy Holly in London ’s West End . Ratboy Jr.
Ratboy Jr. features two powerhouse musicians from the very popular Ratboy band for grownups - Timmy and Matty, a rocking duo for all ages. Two men, one guitar, one keyboard, lots of drums and two pairs of pants. Ratboy Jr. has become well known for their catchy tunes, insightful lyrics, and hilarious onstage banter. Ratboy Jr. is the houseband for this year’s Kidtopia in Woodstock. Timmy and Matty have played with big kids, like The Ramones, Uncle Rock, Pete Seeger, and the guy from School House Rock! Wavy Davy from Chronogram says, “Ratboy Jr. brings a mischievous wit and sublime humor to a blend of insightful lyrics, fresh freestyle, and catchy acoustic guitar-smithery.”
