Designer Sample Sale at BoConcept Madison October 23 and 24

Collections from Zang Toi, Sally and Andrew Brunger, Wendy Brandes, and Caroline Cameron.



On the heels of their successful art and fashion show, BoConcept partners with four designers to hold a sample sale event at BoConcept



Owner of BoConcept, Niki Cheng, believes that fashion is not only about clothing and shoes but also about lifestyle. Going to a sample sale has become a popular activity for New Yorkers. Therefore, Niki Cheng would like to provide a different shopping experience at its store. Offering urban design in furniture and accessories with four designers each specializing in different fashion disciplines, shoppers can buy elegant products and enjoy an atmosphere of urban lifestyle design provided by BoConcept New York at the same time. 



The designers include Zang Toi (clothing), Sally and Andrew Brunger (men’s knitwear and jewelry), Wendy Brandes (jewelry), Caroline Cameron (baby clothing). The fabulous sample sale will be held from October 23rd 5pm-8pm and October 24th 12pm-6pm. The designers are offering their products from 30% to 80% off. BoConcept will also offer last season accessories up to 80% off.

Zang Toi- After Zang Toi established the, “House of Toi” collection in New York in 1989, Zang was awarded the 1990 Mouton Cadet Young Designer of the Year award, which recognizes the top young US designer of the year. Over the years, his design has evolved from the bright and decadent of the 1990s to the timeless yet modern lines of the turn of the country. No matter what the trend, Zang Toi creations are chic and glamorous, always highlighting the beauty of the female form.

The Brungers- “The Brungers” was established by Sally and Andrew Brunger, founders of KolDesign, as a brand extension to their already popular bath and body line, Kol. Having specialized in products developed for men, their turned their eye toward apparel, creating knitwear for men made in Peru of Alpaca and Pima cotton. With a focus on fine detailing, bold color statements and a European fit, Sally and Andrew Brunger launched “The Brungers” in Fall 2009 in specialty stores and boutiques.  They will also be offering a limited line of Sally Randall Brunger’s jewelry –semi-precious stones and leather inspired by tribal and Etruscan jewelry, for men and women.

Wendy Brandes- Wendy Brandes is strongly influenced by the stories of fascinating women, whether they lived in the 16th century or the Swinging '60s. She creates pieces that are bold and eye-catching, yet feminine and organic. Mechanical pieces that open and close, unscrew or twist are her specialties. Wendy received editorial in several major fashion magazines.

OX kids- Launched by founder and creative director Caroline Cameron in early 2008. OX kids brings the aesthetic of eco friendly design to the world of children. The cotton is so soft that it has the feel of downy silk but with the sturdiness of cotton. Consistent with the ethos of OX kids, the cotton collection is offered in a palette of soft shades created from low impact dyes that both compliment baby's skin and appeal to the modern parents.
