DAYLIGHT: Peachy Deegan Has Breakfast at Tiffany's! Whom You Know Just LOVES Tiffany's!

Peachy first read it as a summer reading book at Miss Porter's School.

But until today, Peachy Deegan had not actually had Breakfast at Tiffany's! In days past when she used to read stacks of Official Statements that were taller than her at 9 West 57th Street, she used to stroll by the Tiffany windows and look in at Breakfast Time, but alas, no one was having breakfast. It was not yet open! We did enjoy the window displays while sipping coffee then as many do now.

This all changed today! We at Whom You Know received an invitation from Tiffany's that read:

"Congratulations on creating a blog with a distinctive voice and must-read status. We invite you for a very special Breakfast at Tiffany to celebrate your success and to debut Tiffany's gift collection for Holiday 2009." And what a gift collection it was! Peachy Deegan cannot find one thing she would not want at Tiffany's! We LOVE LOVE LOVE Tiffany's! This is the 25th post where they have been mentioned. Essential coffee, fresh orange juice, excellent bacon, smoked salmon sandwiches and mimosas were served. Every girl dreams of a breakfast like this at Tiffany's! We wish Audrey was there but we are sure she was there in spirit. Any mean red that anyone had before walking in the door disappeared in the glitter of the holiday diamonds that lit up our morning.

We loved perusing the entire store including the 4 distinct designer collections (Peretti, Picasso, Gehry, Schlumberger), and most of all, what came out for holiday of course, which we look forward to featuring. Peachy's most favorite item is in the above photo: she models a diamond snowflake necklace which we look forward to featuring in greater detail. Perhaps if she tells Santa she will be good for the rest of her life it will appear in her stocking?
