This California brand is the inventor of the Shape Ups, but we begin with the Women's Resistance Runner! This particular model includes the Shape Up technology but goes by a different model name: the Resistor. This is a fabulously comfortable shoe that boasts great structure and engineering. The kinetic return system which is cushioning is genius! We love the wedge in this and it feels like your posture really improves as well as your entire stance when running. Our tester could not wait to try these out, and on the inaugural run went for five miles! Also, studies show that by wearing these sneakers you burn more calories in less time, and who wouldn't want that?!! The design reduces shock and joint stress, and fair enough after running in them our tester was less sore than normal!
