Retired at 35 by TV Land Recommended by Whom You Know

Peachy Deegan does not discuss her age often, however, she is uniquely qualified to critique this series as she is in fact, age 35.  A wonderful comedy set in the warm sunny state of Florida, Retired at 35 follows the life of Johnathan who leaves New York....so it is a particularly relevant series for our readers because - well - why would we want to leave New York?  Find out by watching...Retired at 35 follows a successful businessman (Johnathan McClain) who decides to chuck the New York City rat race... and retires to Florida, three decades ahead of time! He ends up moving into his parents’ Florida condominium, joining his pop (George Segal) in a brand new world of sunshine and fun, from slow-moving softball games to really early dinners. Mom

(Jessica Walter) and a cast of characters look on skeptically as father and son bond again, new-found buddies enjoying the glories of total irresponsibility!

David Robbins (Johnathan McClain), a New York executive, decides to drop everything while visiting his parents Alan and Elaine Robbins (George Segal and Jessica Walters) in Florida, and move into their retirement community. The move prompts Alan and Elaine to make an unexpected life decision as well.

Newly-single Alan wants a relationship with no strings attached, but this philosophy might be more than he can handle. Meanwhile, David must keep a secret from his father… Mom’s back in town.
