Terrific Takeout: MX Co

MX Co is a sweet spot on the Upper East side that reminds Peachy Deegan of Pedro, you know the guy that lives between the states of North and South Carolina.  Actually, anything Mexican reminds her of Pedro because that is her first association with Mexico.  Above are the pulled chicken quesadillas which were spectacular and bursting with flavor.  They were not too doughy, they were not too overcooked, they were just right.
The surf and turf kebabs were standout as well and the rice and beans complimented the chicken, shrimp and steak nicely.  And of course as they were proper kebabs they were joined by red and green peppers.
A delicious dish, this is something to get excited about for takeout.

In this world common sense is not so common-was it Twain that said that?- and that is true of restaurants in New York in particular.  We never write up what is awful and not proper but we see it.  You should know MX Co is smart to package their super salmon salad like you see above.  The salmon is separate.  The greens, oranges and watermelon which are spiced-quite unique, can join the salmon when you get it to Chez Vous.  Of course Peachy does not know how to say that in Spanish, just French.  Ooh la la.
And if the french ordered this takeout, they'd say ooh la la too.
