NIGHTLIGHT: Friends of Animal Rescue Hosts their 3rd Annual Yacht Cruise

On Tuesday, June 21st, Whom You Know's favorite animal charity: Friends of Animal Rescue (FOAR.org) hosting a smashing Yacht Cruise spearheaded by Blaine Caravaggi and Mover and Shaker Betsy Goldman, the heart and soul of FOAR. This is one of the premiere summer events in Manhattan and all we have to say is next year be there! Check out how much fun Movers and Shakers Pat and Stephen Attoe had:

Robert Caravaggi, creator of The Peachy Deegan, Blaine Caravaggi, and Peachy had an equally fabulous time.

FOAR is a non-profit organization providing financial assistance to small animal rescue groups throughout New York State who do not have access to other financial assistance. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to animals in need. Guest host, The View’s Joy Behar made a brief appearance and we were sorry to miss her...we thought she would be sailing so Peachy was having fun on the deck taking pictures of Pat and Stephen eating bacon while Joy was downstairs! Peachy went to BC with Elisabeth Hasselbeck so we were going to chat with you about that Joy, if you are reading....Here is Claudette Caravaggi-Dukas, Robert's little sister. What a peachy outfit, Claudette you look smashing!

Accompanying Ms. Behar, the charismatic cast of National Geographic’s hit series,

Rescue Ink rounded out a special evening bringing together celebrity supporters, animal

advocates and individuals pursuing placement of adoptable pets into loving homes and

those seeking to end the needless destruction of innocent animals.

FOAR’s 3rd annual summer sunset cruise offered guests a chance to win an array of

exciting silent auction prizes. Additionally, guests will enjoyed a luxurious sunset cruise

around the Statue of Liberty, live music, complimentary cocktails and a full buffet dinner

catered by famed Upper East Side haute, Swifty’s, our absolute FAVORITE. Here is Ann Watt who's sparking personality is even better than her photographic genius:

Of the 40,000 animals who pass through New York City shelters each year, 16,000 of them

never make it out. No animal deserves to die because it’s fallen victim to animal cruelty.
