READ THIS: Eloise Goes to the Beach By Sonali Fry Illustrated by: Tammie Lyon / In the Style of: Kay Thompson and Hilary Knight

Interactive reading with Eloise? Sign my family up! We love, love, love being able to lift, turn and peek-a-boo our way with Eloise. Our favorite part of the book? Winning the blue ribbon in sandcastle building of course! A favorite in our house though?? The sneaky picture of Weenie sticking his tongue out? Is he annoyed with Eloise or just panting. We debate the issue here!

I love the beach. I love books that have flaps to lift too. So the book Eloise Goes to the Beach was a big hit for me. After I brought it to school for my students to read, I knew it would be a hit with them too. I could see them wanting to write about going to the beach. They kept asking if we could have a "beach party". I love that Eloise gets my students excited about reading and writing.

My daughter loves interactive books. It just adds another dimension to ready and engages them. Books and reading are so important and it is hard to compete these days with the Ipad! So Eloise Goes to the Beach takes it to a whole other level. I love the pull tab, lifting the flaps and spinning the wheels to see what Eloise is up to. Just wait to see what a great water skier Eloise is!

Eloise Goes to The Beach is such a fun book. First of all I love the story. Secondly - what's not to love about the pull up tabs inside. It keeps those kids guessing. Not only do they get sucked into the book but it really makes you want to go to the beach. I love the pull up tabs I think its a fun twist. Oh that Eloise - never a dull moment!

"Eloise Goes to the Beach" is an interactive book which my four year old simply adored! Eloise leaves The Plaza for a beach trip with Nanny, Weenie (her dog), and Skiperdee (her turtle). Everyone's favorite "city child" fills her beach day with constant activity, of course! She swims, searches for buried treasure, waterskies, snacks and enters a sand castle contest (which she, of course, wins)! My four year old loved, loved, loved the tabs and flaps and especially loved the wheels to turn! This is a fun, easy read that any child (and adult) will enjoy! It is fun, fun, fun!
