Peachy's Pantry Panel Highly Recommends the New Star of the Dell'Amore Family of Gourmet Sauces: Artichoke and Capers! You Absolutely Must Try It!

Having tried the other Dell'Amore sauces before, I was excited to try the Artichoke and Capers one. I have to say this is a new favorite. I tried it over angel hair pasta and as a pizza sauce. Both were wonderful. If a jar sauce is needed at my house, this is the only one I will use. One side of my family is Italian, so sauce is something that is a staple. When looking for a wonderful sauce that's quick and easy with a homemade taste, Dell'Amore is where you should turn.

I have zero interest in ever making my own tomato sauce. The time and energy that goes into it is wasted on me. Plus, now that I have found the Dell’Amore brand of sauces, I am sold for life. Their newest sauce to add to the collection is the Artichoke and Capers. This sauce takes flavor to a whole new level. Not too thick allowing the pasta to stand on its own. Yet, thick enough to coat the pasta and add an incredible flavor and texture. The perfect sized chunks of artichokes and salty capers. This sauce is perfect for those foodies looking for an authentic sauce with some originality.

Dell'Amore sauces are truly gourmet. They really put the pasta you make at home on par with a fine Italian restaurant. One of their unique marinara sauces is mixed with artichoke and capers. These ingredients give the sauce a very special flavor that is hard to come by in other sauces. The company has taken the original family recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation and added new ingredients to make something truly special. I love artichokes and capers, and this sauce really highlights their distinct flavors. As usual, you cannot go wrong with Dell'Amore!

Dell'Amore Artichoke and Capers is one of the most delicious sauces I've had in a long time. I love the taste! It goes well on pasta, on chicken, beef...the list could go on. The sauce is seasoned to perfection. Light and not heavy - that's the way I like to eat. Keeping it on the healthy but flavorful side is the best way to go and Dell'Amore does it! To be honest I would give a selection of Dell'Amore sauces as gifts. I believe it brings life to any dish.

The History of Dell'Amore:
Our grandmother, Filomena, was born December 5, 1895. She grew up in the town of Agropoli, in the Campania region of southern Italy. The photograph of Filomena on our label was taken in 1914, when she sent it to her boyfriend, a sailor in the Italian navy.

Filomena emigrated to the U.S. in 1924. She settled in Brooklyn and raised a family there. Her children and grandchildren swore she was the best cook in the world. The love and care that grandmother Filomena put into her cooking has become a family tradition and a trademark of Dell’Amore pasta sauce today.

We began offering family recipes in jars with our family name on them in 1986. Dell’Amore sauce is prepared and packed in our cannery in Colchester, Vermont. We are one of the original pioneers, if not the original pioneer, of quality pasta sauce in a jar. Dell’Amore sauces continue to win accolades from customers and food critics alike. And the rest, as they say, is history.
