There are so many different alphabet books out there. But I have never seen one quite like this. Paul Thulby’s Alphabet is funky and creative way to help children learn the alphabet. With Illustrations that really embrace the letter it is. They should totally license his letters to make nursery prints for creating names and words on the wall. Definably more modern and interesting than most. Perfect for those looking for a different take on the alphabet book.

Alphabet books are by far one of my favorite types of picture books. When I saw this book, I was ecstatic! Not only were the illustrations in this book awesome, the dust cover of this book expanded into a poster! I knew I wanted to hang it up in my classroom. One of the first things I did was take it to get laminated because I want it to last. As for the book itself, most other alphabet books I've read usually only dedicate one page per letter. Not in this book. Each letter got two pages and the attention to detail was impeccable. One of the first things I do at the beginning of the year is read a few of my favorite alphabet book. This one tops the list now! I can't wait to read it again.

Paul Thulby’s Alphabet gets an A for AWESOME! I really love this book. There are many alphabet games but nothing like this one. This book is unique. I love the way the illustrations bring the letters to life. Also, the images are simply clever and fun. My daughter LOVES this book - she loves the images and just squeals with delight. Really is a MUST in every child's library.

For anyone looking for a fun and interesting way to teach their children the letters of the alphabet, look no further than Paul Thulby's "Alphabet". A graphic artist, this is Paul Thulby's first picture book, but hopefully not his last. The artwork is absolutely outstanding in this book. My five year old has known his letters for quite some time, but he loved looking through this book and talking about the letters and the artwork that accompanies them. We had a lot of fun looking through this book together and discussing the letters and the different shapes/objects that the author chose to use to represent them. This would make a great gift for any young child learning the alphabet. As an adult I appreciated his attention to detail and his "thinking outside the box" when choosing how to represent a letter. My son and I truly loved this book!
