Hape Gingerbread Set Highly Recommended by the Petite Peachy Panelists of Whom You Know! Hape Makes Us Happy!
My son enjoyed playing with the Hape Gingerbread set! A 3-year-old loves to pretend and he had loads of fun baking gingerbread cookies. Playing together with this set also gave me as a parent an opportunity to discuss the holidays and giving to people in need. We pretended to wrap them and discuss whom we would like to bring them to and why. It was a wonderful way to play and learn. He was able to use the rolling pin and cutters with ease. I found it age appropriate and matching the cutters to the cookies made for a nice challenge for him. We rolled and baked the gingerbread man, tree, and the hearts. He wanted to make sure all were cooked and ready to give to the few people he chose. We played for about an hour and he stayed engaged in the activity which is impressive to have his attention for such a period of time. This set would make a great addition to a play kitchen.
Hape Gingerbread set is here right in time for the holidays. Get ready for your children to be bakers in the kitchen with you. This adorable set is so cute. I love how your children can make gingerbread cookies without the mess. Use the rolling pin to flatten the dough. Then use the cookie cutters to cut out different shapes. Put them on the tray and then voila! It's time to decorate! This is so much fun to use as a gift for kids who want to be a helper in the kitchen. This is a great product and simply a must have!
My son has always loved baking. For his second birthday his Aunt gave him a kitchen set and three years later he still loves to "play kitchen." "Let me make ya a cuppa Joe," he says. I attribute his love of baking to the fact that he has grown up watching his Daddy make a big Sunday breakfast every week and he loves to assist his Aunt and me with baking cookies, brownies, pies, etc.! He was so excited when I showed him the Hape Toys Gingerbread Baking Set. "Well, mom, I guess I'm going to have to make a couple batches here, so I'd better get started," said my sweet boy. He started out setting everything up on our kitchen table. He rolled out the "dough," used the cookie cutters to cut out the cookies and gently placed them on the cookie sheet. Then, "Follow me, mom." Into his room we went to his kitchen set. He very carefully placed the cookie sheet in his oven. While his cookies were baking, he set up some stuffed animals in a chair. When his cookies were done, he gave his stuffed animals a cuppa his famous joe and some gingerbread. It was just adorable! I got so much enjoyment out of watching him play and be imaginative! Hape Toys Gingerbread Baking Set would make a wonderful gift for any child as it is not only fun, but is educational too!
I always loved baking when I was little. My favorite thing to bake was gingerbread men. I still love to bake when I can now. When I saw this Gingerbread Baking Set, I knew it would be a big hit with the girls in my class for a Fun Friday activity. With the holidays fast approaching, I always try to get a few gifts for the class to let them open when we come back from break. I plan on using this as one of those gifts. Our game cabinet is getting a bit bare because most of our games are missing pieces or becoming worn because of being used so much. I can't wait to see the looks on the girls faces when they open this. Since most of them know I love gingerbread cookies, I know they will want to "bake" these for me to try them out. I know I'm going to have to look into purchasing more!
