So, to make it look its best, there's one place to go in New York and that is The Cutler Salon.
If you are a human being in New York (and are not bald) you are currently fighting a losing battle with the weather.  Mover and Shaker Lonnie Quinn is telling the world that this is likely to be a record setting heat wave week, and that means Humidity has a hat trick and you are at zero.  To score your hat trick (get excited for our expanded official NHL coverage!!!) , pick up your phone, make an appointment (information at the end of the post) and direct your feet just past Bergdorf Goodman on West 57th Street up the stairs to Cutler.
Peachy's hair needed an update with the color.  Gaby knew just what to do and above is working her Goddess of Color magic (wand not pictured).   Before anything started, a consultation between Gaby Bowen, colorist, Kelsy Osterman, stylist and client (Peachy in this case) happened.  They set a common goal and each stated what they would do to achieve it and everyone was on the same page.  Sounds like a plan and sounds straightfoward and simple, right?  This doesn't happen at every salon and is one of many reasons why Cutler is the best.  They do this with every client.  Communication and talent combined will get you the best hair no matter what season.
Kelsy's plan was to clean up the ends and keep the long layers, and since you know who spends a lot of time on the computer and doesn't want her hair in her face so she can see, they agreed to make sure all layers fit into a ponytail.  We can confirm this works because guess who is not sitting pretty at the salon right now...but is sitting fairly pretty at the computer because the blowouts by Kelsy last for many days!
Gaby Bowen knew to cover any offending silvers.  For Peachy they happen in the front and down the middle....you only know this if you see her right before her appointment!  The highlights around Peachy's face started to get too yellowy so they needed to be toned down to look more natural.  Gaby mixed up a formula of Shades EQ that was kept on for 10 minutes to give it a more realistic blond look and avoid a black and white look that if you knew Peachy in college, she once got from a bad salon in Boston.  Jennifer Lee, known at Cutler as Gia as there is more than one Jennifer, did a great job washing and conditioning Peachy's hair.
A winning style scored by The Cutler Salon!
Bravo team Gaby and Kelsy!
You are the best.
One day if Peachy eats her Wheaties, she will be as tall as Kelsy.
Make your day, and go to The Cutler Salon!!!
