Co-founder and Co-owner Gil tells us:
It all started few years ago when we met with friends and had a funny idea: 'What if your socks could talk like a sock puppet?'. We thought it would be funny so we decided to give it a try. We started prototyping by drawing on a white sock and creating short funny videos with sock characters. It was challenging to find a producer but after trying in different countries, we were glad to find a good partner to collaborate with.
Our first collection was launched in December 2012 with only 4 characters designed by us and our friends.
We sold them in markets and online and the reactions were great. It made people laugh and gave us motivation to continue.
Three years and a half of trading and the ChattyFeet collection now have around 30 characters selling in 10 countries.
For us, the greatest achievement is when we see that our products made people smile. We hope to create many more chatty products in the next year.
