Fresh off New York Fashion Week: Men’s, the S/S ’18 season of PROJECT and MRket will open on Sunday, July 16th and run until Tuesday July 18th, bringing a distinct approach to fashion trends in the marketplace. On the cusp menswear designers, legendary brands and designer collections will be shown alongside live model presentations and returning partners Parsons School of Design and Fashion Snoops. The three-day event will be held at Jacob Javits Center.

PROJECT and MRket will provide an intimate buying experience balancing both the contemporary menswear offering with a sophisticated US and international assortment of tailored sportswear and accessories. Within both shows, neighborhoods are carefully curated which enables retailers and buyers to successfully merchandise and accessorize their product assortment.

“New York Men’s Fashion is truly coming into its own. With NYFW:Men’s wrapping up, it has been exciting to witness the strong talent here in the American menswear industry and inspiring collections and trends presented for the SS18 season,” says Tommy Fazio, President of Fashion, UBM Fashion. “It is more important than ever to continue to unify the menswear community. Having PROJECT NY and MRket under one roof offers retailers an unparalleled experience to shop an array of talented designers and brands bringing the strongest selection to their stores.”

At this season’s New York Men’s Day, PROJECT previewed five designer collections from notable menswear brands from within The TENTS including M. Singer, Thaddeus O’Neil, WRK, Michael Bastian, and Faherty on Monday, July 10 at Dune Studios. As a continuation of this program, full looks will be featured on the show floor from the participating designers. Additional brands presented within The TENTS will include; Frame Denim, Vilebrequin, CLOSED, and more.

MRket offers an introspective look into the trends of the marketplace allowing buyers to shop what’s next in the menswear lifestyle category presenting new and emerging designers for men. Showcasing brands include Jean Lorent, Stolen Riches, STANTT, and Avenue 33.

PROJECT continues to support and foster emerging designers through its ongoing partnership with Parsons School of Design. The ‘Next In Class’ program is a unique opportunity for emerging designers as it provides a platform for recent Parsons BFA graduates, arming them with the educational experience and exposure to break into the marketplace.

This July, four menswear and dual-gender designers Yuner Shao, Rika Konishi, Alexa Chia and Qiongxin Kou will present their collections in the program.

President of Men’s, Erik Ulin relays “UBM Fashion continues to challenge itself to offering a 360 experience for venders and buyers; each season we are able to present something new, whether it is expanded neighborhoods like BLUE that match the demand for denim in the marketplace, exposure to coveted menswear brands, or education tools such as P1V0T which offers tech-based solutions for the entire process, from design to sell-through.”

Additional highlights of the show include:

• Live Presentations will take place on Monday, July 17th on the floor and will feature the following line up:
