Today, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) Foundation announced the election of seven new members to its Board of Trustees. The seven newly-elected board members are Joellyn Gray, director, new business development, FUJIFILM; Linda Kinney, managing counsel, product regulatory, Intel Corp.; KR Liu, formerly vice president, advocacy and accessibility, Doppler Labs; Tiffany Moore, vice president, government & political affairs, CTA; Dan Pidgeon, chairman of the board, Starpower; L. Dennis Shapiro, president, Arzak Corporation; and Gary Yacoubian, president and CEO, Specialty Technologies/SVS.

"The foundation's new board members represent diverse areas of the consumer technology industry and will help position the CTA Foundation for great success in the years to come" said John Godfrey, senior vice president, public policy, Samsung Electronics North America and CTA Foundation Chair. "We look forward to continuing to strategically fund programs that align with the foundation's mission to enhance the lives of seniors and people with disabilities with technologies such as digital health devices, smart home products and self-driving vehicles."

We also funded over $500,000 in projects that support initiatives like virtual senior centers, lifelong learning and research in low vision to help people live more independent and healthier lives through innovative technology."
