Announcing Hutch and Waldo by Alastair McFarland @hutchandwaldo a Manhattan Upper East Side Coffee Experience!

Owner Alastair McFarland

Drumroll please...not much at all would happen in Manhattan we believe without everyone's great secret weapon: caffeine.  Certainly we would not have gotten to 23,000 posts without it and we love to share our caffeinated secrets to spur you on to do great business too.
Two months ago on November 4, 2017, owner Alastair McFarland opened Hutch and Waldo, a fantastic coffee shop we recently visited for the first time.  The Australian native will surely enjoy our sports section as he was a rugby player prior to this coffee pursuit.  Their coffee we have tried and it is rich, delicious and complex and Fridays at noon there will be public tastings if you would like to try their talents in a coffee cup.  They plan to have a rotating coffee program dictated by the taste of their guests; we look forward to their culinary endeavors which will soon launch.

Their website says:
Hutch + Waldo are obsessed.
Coffee and food, prepared Australian-style. Only the best, only the freshest. Uncompromising. Passionate about their craft.
Ingredients are sourced locally, the same day that you sink your teeth into them. Everything is prepared fresh. Very fresh.
The Australian love of coffee is distinct – it is truly woven into the fabric of the culture. Coffee is not just fuel to wake you up, but it is a social hub, an excuse to gather with friends at a beach-side cafe. It enjoys a special place of worship.
Come in and see what we mean.
