Dashnor Tailoring Since 1979 - Dashnor Begaj is the Master of Hemming Pants by Hand to Perfection! Check Out Peachy Deegan's Corduroy Pants

Unfortunately, not everything bought off the rack fits well.
Fortunately in Manhattan, there is Dashnor Begaj!

Dashnor Begaj has been previously featured in 2014 and 2011:

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Peachy and she was shopping. She fell in love with a pair of pants that mostly fit so well, except she was not tall enough for them.  They conversed, and they agreed to be short enough for her!  They visited our friend Dashnor, expert tailor, and he hand-hemmed them after seeing them on Peachy and properly marking them.  His extreme attention to detail and precision make him an absolute joy to work with, and we could not be happier with our hem.   After Dashnor did his best work, Peachy and her pants lived happily ever after.
Dashnor will tell you to bring the shoes you will wear the pants with.

His website tells u:
Dashnor “Dino” Begaj has almost 35 years of experience as a couturier in the fashion industry, working with iconic brands such as Tom Ford and Giorgio Armani.

Dashnor first noticed the art of tailoring watching his mother make clothes for the people in her town of Hekal. Although she did not have a formal education, her simple tailored clothing was elegantly crafted.

At age 16, Dashnor opened his own tailor shop in Hekal, Albania, where he created garments for both men and women from whole cloth. When he turned 19, Dashnor earned a coveted spot at the Tailor's Institute in the capital, Tirana-- where he later became an instructor. In 1997, political turmoil in Albania prompted Dashnor and his family to move to Italy. There, working in Milan, he received the nickname “Dino”and his experience, persistence and hard work established his reputation as a master tailor.

In 1998, Dashnor was granted the opportunity to come to the U.S., where once again he proved his mettle. In a few years, he became one of the head tailors at Giorgio Armani, where his talent was spotted by up-and-coming designer Tom Ford. Ford asked Dino to help run the fledgling brand's tailoring division. Dino once again rose to the top, becoming known for his impeccable craftsmanship and his honest demeanor with the celebrity clientele.

The friendships he built at Tom Ford and Armani allowed him to branch out and in 2009 he opened his own tailor shop on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Since then, Dino has continued to service clients from Tom Ford and Armani, in addition to building up his own list of loyal clients.
